Him and Walker seem like the obvious 2025 pairingWow. Sandon Smith season?
If it's concussion related, why would you leave it to the end of the year (and put yourself at further risk)?Keary expected to announce retirement end of the year
I assume concussion is a concern but not forcing itIf it's concussion related, why would you leave it to the end of the year (and put yourself at further risk)?
Apparently has said concussion isn't the main issue, just happy with what he's achieved and wants to pull the plug.I assume concussion is a concern but not forcing it
He should pull the plug in one weekApparently has said concussion isn't the main issue, just happy with what he's achieved and wants to pull the plug.
My kids would be very upset when I refuse to buy them an ice cream from either of those two germs.I can only hope that he follows in Massoud's footsteps and buys an icecream truck.
I'd buy one just to ask if they were getting better scoops now or in their last job.My kids would be very upset when I refuse to buy them an ice cream from either of those two germs.
Same.I hope Kent has also been charged
The way the game's heading they might end up adopting the same stuff as union. It feels like there is a storm coming regarding concussions, tackle technique, kick offs and head-on-head contact.
I think we are going to see some big changes to the way the game looks in the next few years to reduce this as much as possible.
NRL physio and a bunch of other commentators online have been quite vocal in that the best way to reduce risk is to change tackle technique to lower the point of contact. I see this as the potential net positive for the game. Reduce concussion, and as a byproduct, have less first contact that wraps up the ball, increasing second-phase opportunities.
Knowing the NRL they will just get rid of kick offs though.
Vegan ice cream truck too. No kid is having that.My kids would be very upset when I refuse to buy them an ice cream from either of those two germs.
That sounds right. And why such a rule is ridiculous. It should also read "a disruptor is also classified as interference if a player attempts to play at the ball in a genuine attempt to bat it back and misses because they're all flying around in the air at 1,000 mph and getting bashed into by nutters doing the same with no regard for their personal safety (or those around them). My interpretation of a disrupter:
A disruptor is classified as interference to the ball catcher by a player (or players) who, at the time of interference were not in a position to have a genuine attempt of either catching or batting back the ball.
To avoid doubt, if an attacking player either catches or bats back the ball prior to the defender, a disruptor penalty will not be considered.
I believe Kent was identifying as a tree for a moment so it's not an issueI think the tree is pressing charges
Does a disruptor count on short drop outs? I assume it would if one of the defenders tried to put them off with a whiff at the ballThat sounds right. And why such a rule is ridiculous. If you run through with your eyes on the ground and leap and get a hand to it then it shouldn't be a disruptor, you timed it well enough to make a play for it. You shouldn't be punished for timing something correctly because the bunker determines he doesn't think you were looking enough. My interpretation of a disrupter:

Well they dunno **** then because that'll KO more defenders. lol who appointed NRL Physio & wtf do they know ?It feels like there is a storm coming regarding concussions, tackle technique, kick offs and head-on-head contact.

Not talking low and legs only, but powering the strike zone from face to face ball and all. Shoulder hitting ball and below like Jake Trbojevic rather than face to face front on like Dale.Well they dunno **** then because that'll KO more defenders. lol who appointed NRL Physio & wtf do they know ?
Righto. I think if everyone could tackle like Jake they would. Not talking low and legs only, but powering the strike zone from face to face ball and all. Shoulder hitting ball and below like Jake Trbojevic rather than face to face front on like Dale.
No one appointed anything, it's just his twitter account. Not holding it up as any source of truth, I just agree with the concept.
Maybe if there was more consequence for ****ing up and getting it wrong, more would be forced to learn?Righto. I think if everyone could tackle like Jake they would.
