Hynes is really the only game breaker in our side and I think that's an issue.

Our backline is good but again, there are no game breakers in there.

Excluding Nikora and Cam our forwards are all very inconsistent. Will this change? Hope so.

We're a good team but we just have so many middle of the road players.

Feel like they have the power to put the pedal down but just haven't done it yet

Yeah agreed. Although I'd add Williams and a fit Toby into the consistent forwards.

Our 2-5 are all great 2nd or 3rd best backs for a side to have, and the 1,6 and 9 really need to find a tier where they can create with the chips down. Like you said, we're missing the balance with too many 'mid' tier guys.

You turn Kennedy into Walsh, Tricky into Reynolds, or Brailey into Api and I think the side finds another level. Realistically could have found the cash to make at least one of those happen, but who knows if they'd have signed anyway. I'd have to think Api would have been possible.

That said, some luck with injuries, and another year of development and who knows what can happen.

Fair point on Williams in particular and probably Toby, knew I'd miss someone.

Really hoping Dykes can become the player we are all hoping for.

Excluding those two and Williams the forwards were all consistent...ly getting injured.

Lots of opinions in the article but one is a fact that is just wrong. It says:

“We’ve all heard “they can't beat top eight sides". We all know this to be true. Today we look at the "why?".”

But we beat knights, raiders and roosters this season. Only played Penrith, broncos and storm once. 3/7 of the top 8 we’ve beaten so I think that theory can be put to bed. If he said top 4 then fair enough

The whole article is a pile of nonsense.

It’s like he collated a list of the most common dumb myths from the year, and then passed them off as facts without doing any research. Pretty standard for him.
