I think there is a lot of value in that commentI don't want to take anything away from a very enjoyable drubbing, but geez the cowboys were putrid

It looks like the official turning point of the season was the Warriors game. The boys are still talking about it. In hindsight, maybe that was a blessing.Bloody great effort Cronulla! That defensive effort tonight, maybe the last 10 of the 1st half but in general it was phenomenal. I wonder whether this win tonight can now be an official turning point of the season, 3 straight now. Very proud of that performance tonight, every player did their job and all of them stood up proud tonight.
yeah there are some I dislike so much more than others at timesGood point, but Cowboys are number 1 for me.
We will get there and they will have to respect us - even with a heavy heart… and it will be all the more sweeter for us.the most disappointing thing is
the media; waking up this morning
these num nuts, all they have focussed on is 'How woeful the Cowboys were" - "oh poor cowy boys have let themselves down" - "ohhh the headaches for Todd Payten"
we aren't penrith, parramatta, brisbane, souths, storm, roosters - we aren't an NRL favoured team
but no recognition of how the sharks were in 'beast mode' early on and continued to pressure them. it was a dominant performance
yet if it was one of teams mentioned above - headlines would be different; it would be how Cleary and Jerome lui put on a clinic against the cowboys; taught them a lesson! that sort of line.
well said mateWe will get there and they will have to respect us - even with a heavy heart… and it will be all the more sweeter for us.
Understand where you are coming from, but I’m happy being under the radar.the most disappointing thing is

Poor cnts do they have any borts or burgs on their forum trying to justify his shtness? The cowboys Facebook is like going back in time to when Chad was at sharks still:
“No more golf until…..”
“No more vlogs until…..”
Nobody is saying we were perfect (and the team knows it too) but let's be happy with the big score line and the big shift in attitude. It's not like the Panthers would have put 70 on them. At most it would have been 50 or something.Although we did play well. The cowboys were definitely poor. I don't think we maintained our intensity well in the 2nd half. Most of our points came from when they had players in the bin, which made us look better.
Happy for the win, and the score line, but lets not kid ourselves.
100%Understand where you are coming from, but I’m happy being under the radar.
in saying that Payten didn’t really praise us much in the presser.
Said that they just weren’t good enough rather than, the Sharks didn’t allow us to play and then whinged about his players being disciplined and injured!
He set the narrative for the jurnos!
I am not suggesting we are. But people complaining about the headlines. Truth is we were good, but the cowboys sucked eggs.Nobody is saying we were perfect (and the team knows it too) but let's be happy with the big score line and the big shift in attitude. That headline... Jesus... must be getting paid by the hyberboleFox Sports has 'Hynes leads irresistible Sharks masterclass as diabolical Cowboys humiliated'.
First half of that sentence is pretty nice!
Yep, another article commenting on the commentary.I left out quotation marks around irresistible and diabolical, so I'm guessing they took that from the commentary.
