Think i'm starting to prefer Tracy over Kennedy at fullback. Always running hard, always putting his hand up to run, always support running and his defense at the back has been solid. Loved that we kept them scoreless in the second half, as they knew their season was on the line. Especially after Roycey dropped the ball after that first hit up after kickoff.

I like Tracey but everything he can do Will can do better. Will has added strong kick returns to his repertoire this year.

Tracey does have more utility though.

We’ve traded a ball player for a runner and it’s been working

Playing more direct and less side to side

Will be an interesting pre season with Dykes in the mix too

Kennedy is fantastic, but I'd definitely say he can't match Connors energy. When everyone was tiring he was relentless tonight backing up and powering through the middle.

I've been noticing in the last couple of games that early on the game, I see that Tracey's getting a bit man-handled on his kick returns due to his stature, but as the game goes further he seems to be running harder and making more metres. As he grows in confidence, he has more impact and it also helps his defence.

Connor makes us play straight. He adds that energy. Constantly making 150+ metres. His support play is there too. Completely different to what Kennedy adds. Tracey’s defence is all ball and all. Kennedy doesn’t seem to like the contact.

With the form Tracey is in and the way we’re playing, Kennedy goes to the bench if he comes back this year. Or simply doesn’t make the 17. The way he came back last year was terrible and worried he would repeat that this year. Feel Kennedy is a real confidence player and not playing for 5-7 weeks would just kill all that momentum he previously had.

It’s because other people get more tired and he stays the same
That or the build up of deep heat on the meatballs as he applies it throughout the game
