What a win!! I know it's another one against a team outside the 8, but the way we played, especially in the 2nd half, was simply outstanding.

Defense was excellent. Has been for the past fortnight and if we can produce the same kind of effort in the coming weeks, we're going to go deep in the finals. Watching our scramble in D, I had 2016 vibes at times.
The team looks focused, physically ready and well balanced. Tricky, Tracey, Hazelton and Graham are the standouts in our recent run of form. And Nicho is playing like he doesn't have to do it all by himself.
Long may it continue.
100% agree with you here mate.

It was a pleasure to watch. Looks like the defensive attitude is finally here.

Do we dare to be excited for the finals?

Thought that was our best all round performance this year , effort , scramble , control and patience to build pressure . Except for a couple of times early on we kept the ruck tight and that kept Deardon out of the game . I thought our middles dealt with JT very well , he had no bearing in the game .
We should take a lot of confidence from this and the last 2 games and have shown that we aren't going to be easy beats come finals time .
This is a different team .

I must add , i thought the real difference in this game was our bench , they were immense when they came and if anything our intensity went up . Going to be a real point of difference for us in the playoffs .

Wonder if Chad was batting off at his cricket meeting last night whilst keeping an eye on the score.

One of our better wins this year. Was good to see a win we kind of had to work for a little, in the end was a good margin but really until about 10 minutes out there was the slughtest chance it could swing.

Their 2 tries were soft, both had some forward passes in them but the forward pass isnt affecting your ability to tackle. But still, a 3rd consecutive game holding teams to sub 18 points, ill take it every day of the week.

Hynes with a few TA and a try himself, plus involvement in another was great, would have been huge gor him. Tricky did his job well, the 40-20 was huge in context along with the repeat set we eventually got the penalty goal from.

Toby was probably worst on ground for us without being terrible. Seemed gassed very quickly

The channel 9 commentary team were bitterly disappointed that the sharkies won haha. They are embarrassing....so good to shove it their faces.

Hahaha! Yes, you read me like a book HB. Had the phone on the desk while the meeting went on and checked the score every few minutes. Great to get the win and I'll watch the game in full later on today.

I really needed to be at the cricket meeting though and I was pleased as punch to find out that after the grading last Sunday, my boy is now an A grade player. He'll be playing 14As this upcoming season. One very proud Dad as I never played A grade.

Anyway, apologies, I digress!

Super win!
What's really pleasing is that a lot of the 'hot' teams seem to be falling apart and we're just hitting out straps. Souths, Cowboys, Canberra... just need the Warriors to do their traditional bed shitting (which I know they probably won't, they're looking awesome) and for a super flu to sweep through the Penrith and Brisbane camps are we're golden baby!

Also swapped in Wade and Tricky and faced beatable (but not walkover) teams
Yeah Fitzy putting a rocket up the team by dropping Moylan and Sifa may have got the reaction he wanted.
