If the Storm and Warriors win their remaining games the best we can do is 5th
Yeah Warriors would have to lose two, can't see it.

Storm have Drags, Titans and Brisbane.

You'd expect them to improve their for & against quite a bit so I reckon unlikely unfortunately.

So, after three good wins in a row, are people going to take us seriously again? (if they ever did in the first place). Have we got some credibility back and are some of the finals teams going to find us tougher to play?

Need to remember that the last two games to come are not pushovers, need to win both of those too. No reason why we can’t.

And if we do, we should find ourselves in the top 4.
It’s funny, we drop a game and people call us pretenders. I’d rather not drop the game but I’d rather be the pretender in 5th than a lot of other teams.

We’ve probably been the best mid table team across the season. Need to step it up a gear if we want to be a contender instead

As you say, need last two wins.

For the broader League fan base to give us a bit of respect probably need to win a final too

Yeah was hilarious, slater thurston cameron smith i wonder who they were supporting? Cameron smith ran a silly analysis saying nichos goal kicking had taken a turn for a worse ( hes been great all year in that department but the 3 misses against titans last week would of put his percentage down a bit) anyway nicho also shoves it in their faces and kicks 6/6. The entire panel tipped cowboys was so funny hearing the awkward silences when we kicked their asses.

Unfortunately the fox guys can be just as frustrating....but it is a race to the bottom.

We need a roy and hg style commentary
The fox guys don’t play favourites, and they don’t believe they’re bigger than the game, which is the main problem with 9. 9 commentators are smug, entitled and boring. Voss is a clown but at least he gets that’s it’s a privilege to commentate rugby league.

It get's tough to say... I'm trying to decide if the Cowboys didn't play so well this week because of their form or our quality play.
I think i'm settled on our winning the field position battle as being a big difference. In which case, people should take us seriously again. If we can starve the top teams of opportunity then we're a real contender.
I though our game management was the difference and the rest fell into place after that. Our offloads were smart, we knew when to just grind out the set and when to be expansive, and our kicking game was excellent.

The cows were always looking for a quick PTB to get their attack going and made mistakes out of frustration when it didn’t happen. I think we had a plan to slow them down even if it meant getting a few 6 agains.

I believe in this team set-up much more then the previous one and for that I give us every chance

There are no leaks in defence, no weaknesses in kicking, our attack is on point for each side of the park, Hynes is suited up with a good halves partner and is playing smarter and we have a fullback that is going to come at you from 1st minute to last
So glad to see you're on board @Wiz 😉
You had us down for a loss last night, didn’t you?
Yeah mate I did but that was my honest opinion and I reckon others were worried too. I was happy to win though let me tell you.

Yeah, I worked it out with the Storm being beaten by the Broncos in the last round.

The cowboys last night reminded me of the sharks earlier in the year when things didn’t go our way.

I'd like to see us win the next 2 games.
Have Broncos / Storm BASH the hell out of each other in the last round with Broncos winning in Golden Point.
Then AMBUSH a battered Broncos week one of finals and see them out in straight sets..
C'mon GREAT SPIRIT make it happen 🙏

Every time Drinkwater got the ball I was worried and more times than not Braydon was the guy who shut him down. I cant imaging Moylan doing that.

Cows were playing like busted arses then
As opposed to last night when they killed it?

The only data point we have of Moylan playing 6 against Drinkwater this season we did even better, so hypothetically deciding Moylan plays badly last night seems a bit pointless to me.
He doesn’t need to be slagged off based on (biased?) hypothetical, we can celebrate Trindall doing well based on fact

Connor makes us play straight. He adds that energy. Constantly making 150+ metres. His support play is there too. Completely different to what Kennedy adds. Tracey’s defence is all ball and all. Kennedy doesn’t seem to like the contact.

With the form Tracey is in and the way we’re playing, Kennedy goes to the bench if he comes back this year. Or simply doesn’t make the 17. The way he came back last year was terrible and worried he would repeat that this year. Feel Kennedy is a real confidence player and not playing for 5-7 weeks would just kill all that momentum he previously had.
100%. I recall Kennedy being bought back (rushed?) for the finals games last year- he was well down on form.

Definately was a lot better tonight then we had in the past this season in general. It also helped that we didn't do so many errors tonight, didn't give away so many penalties compared to previous matches either.
Even some of e penalties given were ???. At one stage Andrew Johns echoed my thoughts when he simply commented “What was that penalty actually for?”
