For the first time tonight I went and checked out the report of our game on NRL.com

The headline read:

“Hynes stars as Sharks end losing Streak Against the Rabbitohs”

Stars?

Put your hand up if you thought he was the star tonight?
1 try assist, 7 tackle breaks, 1 line break assist, 4 offloads, 108 running meters, good kicking game

trindall and hynes both played a starring role in getting us that win

Fair amount of those tackle breaks were crabbing

Not sure if this has been covered but after rewatching the game (and I also thought this at the game too), was when Tracey grounded the ball short for his no try and “lost control before the line” [direct quote from bunker] then why did Souths get a restart from the 20 for a 7 tackle set and not a scrum on the 10?

the simple answer is, he lost control short of the line then the ball went dead

**** rule if that's the case.

In fact, the whole 7 tackle restart should only apply to kicking to ball dead IMO

its been a rule for ages, its why when you see wingers contest a bomb and they knock on they always try and ground it, other wise its a 7 tackle set

With all due respect he “loses control before the line” and the ball is sitting on the ground in the in goal area untouched after it all washed out.

Plus even if Tracey was out and touching the ball at same time, it was still in the field of play, not in the in goal area.

I still don’t see a 7 tackle set 20m restart.

Anyway, it means naught now and we won so happy days.
