For the first time tonight I went and checked out the report of our game on NRL.com

The headline read:

“Hynes stars as Sharks end losing Streak Against the Rabbitohs”

Stars?

Put your hand up if you thought he was the star tonight?
Obviously the journo didn't check the 3-2-1 thread on the forum

Just one question out of that game , how many forward passes did Cook throw from dummy half during that game ? When did it become acceptable to allow it ?
Sorry 2 questions .

I was going to post this too. It is criminal the amount of forward passes he throws that don’t get called. Everyone was slamming Brailey for one he was called for early in last week’s game and it was not forward at all. 75% of Cook’s passes from dummy half are forward.

Do you watch other games? As much as I love the Sharks, we are miles away from Panthers and not just in distance but also in skill and intensity.

Yeah, we’re not winning the comp. To say the Premiership is back on is a massive overstatement. It’s never been on to begin with.

The other thing that is creeping into the game and only some teams are doing it regularly is players not moving out of the way of the dummy half after a tackle . Yet again it is the Storm who are perfecting this grubby little tactic .

Bad isn’t it
Don’t even try to get out of the way and often actively kneel in the way with arms up ‘I’m not doing anything’ blocking hooker from getting to ball / making it impossible to go one way

Used to be able to pass the ball into them and get penalty but players started abusing that
Now gone too far the other way and you can crowd PTB/hooker as much as you want

That's a bit harsh. Expectations would have been high at start of season which have dwindled especially over the past month. Last night was a big improvement but it was against an out of form Bunnies. For me to declare the premiership is back on, I would need to see us go undefeated in last 4 rds (2 current top 8 sides and 1 contender)

It's becoming a joke, ref only called the one against Murray because he kicked the ball

Lazy journalism isn't it. Go for the easy "popular" headline.

Fatrell has maybe 5 good games a year and the rest are bog average. So inconsistent it isn't funny.

Myth.
You're not wrong, but I think you're not giving enough credit to the role his injuries have played.

He's a form player IMO. Once he gets hot, he's untouchable week to week. But he definitely needs to do more to get himself into that rhythm. Pre injury he was absolutely incredible.
