Moylan retired. Talakai for Jets, Trindall to 7. Hynes 6. Wade to Jets. Nut as a starter. Colquhoun on bench. Tracey somewhere. Maybe for Ramien or Talakai. Iro to get a run. Stonestreet to get a run to see how he goes.

Fixing Moylan fixes that ledge, its a flow on effect, Teigs forced to defend1.5, which means Talakai is forced to defend 1.5

Back around the time we signed Todd Carney I was just happy to have a player that could potentially score a length of the field try.

I'm now returning to this style of hope and optimism again.

Length of the field trys don't do it for me anymore, especially if it's against weak opposition

Seeing us actually defend a set on our line is what I like seeing.

Does it give me hope though? No not really I know it's a one off and we will concede a try the next set

We have tightened up our middle defense in our red zone from the JMO years but that left edge has become a disgrace

Talakai & Moylan are a big problem - 2 bad defenders is one thing, 2 bad defenders next to each other is another

BUT 2 bad defenders next to each other that don't work together and show any trust is a disaster
I swear there was a try against us where Talakai ran behind Moylan expecting him not to make the tackle. Problem was both players going for the same bloke left a massive gap

Mozza loves to rush up and miss everything or stand in thin air. When he actually is in a decent spot to defend he gets run over then shakes his head in disbelief that his team have conceded a try

Talakai also loves to get himself in no mans land and gets burnt on the outside for speed alot

Throw in Tieg/Wade to the mix and it's just pain

Yeah I can't stand the sook. **** him.
Agreed.

I get it, coming to Sharks/Australia to play wasnt his preference but he was punted by the Warriors. He was out of form/injured then had a great season before a huge injury, then spent the last season injured. He bitched and moaned about relocating to QLD to continue the comp, poor bastard had to make a sacrifice to earn his ridiculous salary while many of us were stood down from our jobs with partial pay…..then when Fitzy said he wasnt in his plans took his bat and ball and ****ed off back to NZ, coukdnt even see out the season supporting the team, meanwhile Fifita literally nearly died and he was back on the sidelines within a few weeks
