I really don't think so mate. :)
That is what that 10 secs is for.

A team to challenge if they have one to do so and the bunker to check there are no infringements during that last play.

We didn’t have a challenge left (and we would not benefit from a challenge anyway as we were in front)
Manly was the only team that could have benefited from a review so he was waiting for bunker to give the all clear.

So Agree to disagree with you on that.

Yes mate, I agree with all that. Sorry, it sounded like you said he was waiting for the bunker to specifically give a penalty against us. It sounded like you said he was hoping to. ("trying to" sounds like this!). He was just following procedure.

Just watched the replay. FMD the refs clearly had money on manly. Every single 50/50 call went their way. Multiple errors by manly got missed. It’s getting to the point where someone will deadset lose their **** and attack one of these refs. I hope it doesn’t but there are serious but jobs out there. You see it in soccer. You’ll see it pretty soon in the nrl if this **** keeps up.

He did say a little prayer though.

I have watched the replay as well and in the light of day and watching without result anxiety - I am now even more baffled with multiple decisions - about 6-8 of them .

Would have loved to see Mr Annesley and his Monday power point presentation - make some sense of the decisions and justify even a couple of them .

Wow - I’m baffled …

One of the worst Manly Leg ups I have seen.

8.03 to go in the first half, Manly blowing & coming of their own line. Penalty for Cronulla slowing the play the ball on DCE.? Defenders fly off DCE like he has spiders on him, DCE winged, Klein blows his whistle. Breathtaking.

Yeah live on one watch I was pretty confused by that one. Got it for sooking and really was a dozen or more tackles by both teams which were worse and went without a whistle

Mr Annesley was fully focused on the incredible injustice that Brisbane received to worry about any other game.
