So no real surprises in that 17. I know its only round 1, but Souths are likely going to be one of our biggest rivals for top 4. We need to win our home game against them I feel. Losing Hynes is a dagger blow, but contending teams just need to deal with it. So no excuses this Saturday.

I'm excited to see the 3x punch from McInnes, Kaufusi and Williams off the bench. We are going to generate some serious ruck speed there. A lot of pressure but a huge part of this result hinges on whether Tricky is up for this one.

Completely agree. I think it is a good thing we are not risking Hynes and having a player underdone though. Trindall is a capable half. They would have had a couple weeks essentially to plan for he and hunt being out. We still have a very capable side. I think it is a 50/50 game. We have the home ground advantage to make up for the Hynes loss.

Are you surprised? They’re one of the premiership favourites. Kinda wish this game was happening later in the year when both teams are at their peak.

A little bit. That team list kind of snuck up on me. Graham is a certified gun this year. Illias is looking like having a breakout season. Latrell's back to full health and their forwards are stacked. It's going to be a real challenge. Hopefully we get over them when our benches come into play, they don't look so good on that front.

Agree. I think our bench if used right we can really stick it up their forwards. Our backs even without Hynes can hopefully do the job

Our bench is absolute quality. If our forwards play one out bullshit we will get smashed in the contest. Need to be shifting the ball from tackle 3 to get their forwards moving around and and tire them out. Our bench is light but if we play to our strengths we can run them ragged. Going to be a very good game.
