Penrith trying to get cap relief for May, arguing he was injured in a ‘rep game’ (like international, origin or all stars). I guess it’s worth a go but it’s odd to me it could be counted as a rep game and I don’t think I agree with it. He is a panthers player who got hurt playing for panthers in a game the panthers agreed to play and chose him to play in.

Suggestion they could use it to get Dom Young for the year but more likely they use it to help with retention or try make another late season TPJ-like move
Yeah, WTF?
Since when does a team get cap relief for a long term injury?
Can’t ever recall the Sharks getting one for Wade, SJ etc etc

Now Newcastle are trying to offload him 12 months early as they don’t want a player at the club who doesn’t want to be there long term.
Knights might end up with only a handful of players if they stick with this strategy

There's nothing wrong with asking. Your Roosters hate is a bit embarrassing mate.
Fair enough , that IS True.
BOTH , my obvious hatred and yep possibly embarrassing posts about them .
BUT , would the Roosters consider the opposite ?
Doubt it , would have to be a HUMUNGOUS Carrot .
Glad Vossy called it

Who cares if they wouldn't do the opposite, what's wrong with asking? Are the Knights under any obligation to participate?

Cowboys gonna be missing Luciano for most the season? I had no idea. That'll hurt on field & on cap.

Also missing Luki to start the year. Depth is Gosiewski (minor injury in trials) and Dunn (returning from ACL) so it’s looking like Hess is going to play in that spot. Good luck with that Todd.
