He was slammed by Braith for not shutting down Ponga on 2 or 3 plays down the left side. Funny, ponga has been tearing every team up in the same was for 2 months, so why is it only Latrell that cops heat?

Even if it was prearranged to be late the next day it is still the preferential treatment the other players have an issue with

Burgess and Bomber falling out with the coach, supposedly over Trell and Walker, is a pretty bad sign. The Murray quote (if true) pretty telling also about the feelings within the group.

I feel like the “fall out” reasons are a bit of a beat up. Burgess leaving next year anyway to coach in UK.

The wholenthing is souths have collapsed this year and now, like all clubs, they sre copping all the media beat ups and criticisms and all the rest that all the other clubs have to endure too. Remember us 3 weeks ago…nichos ****, can the coach do it….all of a sudden that noise is gery quiet.

He is but I doubt you'd treat a club legend, and he is one, like that unless there are issues.

Yeah, I can't imagine Sammy would burn any bridges on the way out. He surely saw the writing on the wall for their current form and was trying to light a fire under the senior guys. Sounds like the players won out

Telling a bloke who played with a broken face for 80 in a GF, at souths of all places, he didn't earn his ring is just wild.

If thats a player sending out any talk like that to journos or whatever, club will crucify him.

Souths are just this months team that gets all the negative press. After all theyve had to move on from Newy since they keep winning

Could be bullshit, could be legit, but it definitely happens when players aren't happy.

May not be a player leaking it either, btw.

Club can't crucify someone if they don't know who leaked it.
