Probably only 3 or 4 coaches that can manage a petulant sook like Walker and a lazy fat bitch like Fatrell.
I'm not saying your wrong, because he certainly can be lazy. But against the Knights he had 24 runs for 200m. More runs than anyone on the field. He definitely had a crack. That whole team is **** atm, and he's a big part of their team but the media's pushing all the blame on him and Cody.

I didn't see that game. The ones I have seen lately he's been pretty lazy.

Hard to say with the blame bit, if they are carrying on like their **** doesn't stink, especially when they've won 4 from 12, that's a problem. Guess it's up to the coach to sort it out. Doesn't give me much confidence though when Morris and Burgess have apparently called it out and and have been told they can leave.
I reckon 1. Bennett. Robbo already let Trell go. Never pass fitness for a Bellamy or Cleary side. Who else?
That's probably fair. Robbo ain't dumb, good call to let him go, not many clubs would have done that.

Didn't see that game, but imo Latrell is usually one of the better fullbacks at taking carries out of his own end. Having a body like Andrew Fifita is great when you are on tackle 2 inside your own 20, and those carries are every bit as important as the flashy stuff down the other end.

You don't see Reece Walsh taking too many of those carries. Media loves him though... so that must be the way to be good.

Yeah agree some of the talk coming out of there is very concerning for them. If they are held to different accountability they have to be delivering.

Yeah I think he sometimes gets the David Fifita style wrap. If he hasn't broken 6 tackles for an amazing try he looks average.

Isn't helped by the fact he's often smiling and laughing after a knock on etc which can give a particular perception of not caring. I think they're in a spot like we were. Middle forward injuries and no platform to play off which makes the spines job tough.

Agree on Walsh. He's great to watch as he ices the opportunities created for him but definitely getting more accolades than he deserves.

To add to the above though. There's definitely something wrong with how Latrell is playing. He's missed 30% or more of his games in every season since joining souths. Could be bad luck, or maybe those extras he isn't being held to are what help the elite fullbacks stay fit and on the park.

Yeah just a little ironic the media jumping on Latrell for being lazy after the game he just had.

Bunnies have played all over Australia in the last 5 weeks (Sunshine Coast, Tamworth, Perth, Cairns, Newcastle), with no forwards.

Have you seen Raiders play last few weeks? Their F/A is atrocious, they aren't beating Broncos.
Playing like they were in rounds 1-5, right before they went up to Suncorp and beat them.

He was a centre an Easts, where he barely missed a game. Has always played FB at Souths. He's not up to it physically, can still have an impact from centre.

Yeah thats my feeling too, kinda like how Moylan couldn't handle it there for us. Should play centre and pop up on both sides in attack like he did in origin.

Its one of those things isnt it, latrell typically is running 200 a game. He ran 200 with 15 tackle breaks and still gets blasted for some moments where he went missing, where before it was all “latrell is lazy and turns up for the highlights” hes the player in the nrl that will never ever not be criticised. His involvement was big on the weekend but where he went missing was poor.

He also does stuff to attract criticism
Didn't see too many complaining about him slamming a can on stage with Combs... comes out apparently he was late to training the next day...

The press were always gunna slam him for being on stage, they woulda been licking their lips when Souths lost. He was late to training, how do we know this wasnt pre-organised with the coaching staff? Are we just assuming he was late because of the concert?

He was slammed by Braith for not shutting down Ponga on 2 or 3 plays down the left side. Funny, ponga has been tearing every team up in the same was for 2 months, so why is it only Latrell that cops heat?
