Terrible season. Thank God we're out of our misery now. I had high hopes of this year; young team with a new coach, taught a finals lesson in 2022, thought we'd make a prelim at least. Kept expecting things to click but it just never happened. Defence went backwards, attack is more of the same. No back bone in the team, no mongrel and very little desire to get their hands dirty. No idea what to expect moving forward, but it'll be more of the same without drastic attitude changes.

After the talk during the pre season ect I actually thought we could win it this year.
Only good thing to come out of this year is Hazleton, Moylan being dropped and hopefully never allowed back in the 17, Kennedy starting to reach his full potential, Nikora proving he is an elite second rower, Ramien found the form that we all knew he had and Williams has found his spot for the rest of his career, bench impact.

We had so many passengers in this team next year, I really hope our coach sees this and does something about it. Sick of this mediocre **** that seems to be accepted.

You listed quite a few good things there mate haha. I think Trindall showed enough signs to suggest that he will kick on next season. I’m also excited to see Dykes back, hopefully making his mark as a regular in the side at some point next season. Kid has the X factor and speed that we have lacked at times.

Yeah I was meant to write ‘a few good things’ 😂 brain has turned off it seems.

Looking forward to seeing what dykes can do but just don’t know where he plays. Especially considering we have Tracey also.

Back in great spirits from a lovely 2-week holiday in Europe with no internet and this...
I suppose we should outlaw drop goals. Might give us a fair chance.

I can't muster the willpower to read the other comments. Deflating end to what is ultimately a disappointing season.

I don't know if we're going to win a premiership with Fitz in charge, but I think this team has plateaued and winning a final game would be a tremendous achievement right now.

I think @BurgoShark may have suspended himself from the site.

haven’t see him around lately
Had a pre-existing social event that just happened to be with my one mate who doesn't watch any footy. I didn't see much of the game. Just the last 10 :(

... and capturing things that can simply be looked up is not really my thing. I'm interested in learning the things nrl.com doesn't tell me.

Should be pretty easy for someone to collate that info. Essentially from the weekend's game it's just Wade, Nicho and Kaufusi that have much meaningful finals experience, plus the two guys who didn't play (Moylan and Finucane). Maybe Ramien and McInnes have won a game or two.

Anyway everyone can relax - Graham Annesley cleared Roosters being offside:

"Annesley also ticked off a couple of huge defensive plays from Roosters stars James Tedesco and Luke Keary who were deemed to be in onside positions when they rushed out of the line to charge down field goal attempts."

Seriously the idea of fireworks going off when roosters scored and then playing roosters theme song post game @ shark park, I struggled to not spew up my pre game souvo from opposite Northies all over the concourse.

The footage that proves the marker was about 2m to the side of the ruck

Should have got a couple of blockers in there, so it didn't matter how square the marker was... also nice to see all the Roosters on the goal line

That’s where I thought we were going because you could see tricky there and roosters looked short for all money but Mr Hynes needed it more
Yeah, cos that worked great in the 79th minute.

The agendas here are so ****ing boring.
