Cannot wait to hear how the team will learn ( again ) from losing and bounce back next year.
I likely will not win friends saying Hynes isn't either a halfback , his attempts at field goals were beyond awful, the champions always find a way to nail those big opportunities.
His kicking in general , apart from goal kicking is barely average, I accept it is likely a team plan to kick deep into corners, but where is his 40/20 ability? Does he even have that ability?
Talakei's defence was beyond terrible, it was like he was deliberately attempting to break some missed tackles in one match record, I believe he set it.
I know Moylan is not popular on here, but the team has looked way less effective on offence without him, I will accept Will's absence has contributed to that, Trindall has some skills, but he hasn't gelled in that 5/8th position , they looked so clunky with the ball, I have no idea pf course what is the Coach's instructions and not an expert but the eye test says , Moylan was missed.
This team badly needs an overhaul and for me, Hynes is more value going forward as a 5/8th , if we believe Will is first with Kade as a backup
No idea who should be halfback, but the team needs somebody who can guide a team around and build pressure and have an effective kicking game.
I know Jack Williams gets criticism for dropped balls at times , but he runs hard and can bend the line, him and Cam were immune from criticism tonite imo
After all the talk about the Sharks playing at home, and they serve that up for the paying fans.
I am gutted , as I am sure everybody is.
Beyond disappointing and this team has run out of excuses again imo
