Last time I had a blue pill like that. Jumped on top of my wife, was like I was trying to drill for oil all the way to China. Good times

Just watching a highlights pack of Sharks v Eagles, we were amazing & very good but we still give up some ridiculously cheap penalties, it’s been a hangover of ours for a long time now, here’s hoping Fitz gets this out of our game

I get the feeling it might be a close game, hope you're right!
I think Broncos played well against a poor Bulldogs team.
Yes theyll be buoyed by that win, plus narrowly missing out to a vastly underperforming Roosters team the week before.
But this is a Broncos team that was beaten comfortably by both Warriors and Cowboys.
If we play to our strengths we win comfortably i feel

Big danger game this, especially up there. I feel an ambush coming up, I hope I'm wrong. Even with the better team of late, we've always struggled to beat them. I hope Fitzy hasn't let them read their own press this week. We need to get on top of them in the forwards first. Stop Payne Haas and his offloads first (he's killed us in the past with these and post-contact metres), and defend our goal line without letting in soft tries as is our want.
Everyone thinks this is Staggs v Talakai only but we need to win forward battle. Only then we can earn to play our style of football. Hopefully Finucanes' return can get their mind on the job for the full 80 this time.

Even though we've been scoring lots of points at times this year, we haven't been icing a high enough percentage of our opportunities.

The first half against Manly we seemed to turn that around.

If that's a sign of things to come we could put on some big totals during the remainder of this season.

We still left some tries out on the paddock in the Manly game in that 1st half but admittedly iced the majority of them.

There's still plenty of improvement to come I think. Especially when attacking close to the line and last tackle options.

If you have the time, check out the pre-match discussion of this game on the Broncos forum. They've already got 17 pages up.

Most of the idiots on there are saying things like our forwards are bog average and we can't pull off that sort of game again, that Staggs will sort out Talakai and that we are likely to take them easy.

Then there are the sensible ones who don't give their own team much of a chance, saying we are a genuine top four team, saying how they all can't stand Gamble either and would love to belt him if he played against them.

One thing they did say about Gamble was him targeting Jesse and riling him up. This would probably work, not many other players in our team get riled up more than Jesse. Perhaps Ronnie as well.

Here you go, fun reading:

I'm a little worried about Staggs' footwork. In saying that, they should be worried when Sifa has the ball, Staggs' defence can be pretty average at times.

Talakai has certainly become a household name all of a sudden.
