I honestly think that first half was some of the best footy I’ve seen us play for a long time. Yeah we only scored two tries, but we completely dominated them in every aspect. We were full of running and they never looked like leaking points. With that wind, I was expecting to go into halftime down just because it’s so hard to play against wind like that but my god I haven’t been this excited about a sharks team since 2016. I think we are on to something big here folks…

Agreed Sharkyle, Clinical. Having supported Sharks for an age, I was waiting for Newcastle to score two converted BS tries from ringy bounces, BS ref leg ups etc, to secure an undeserved victory against the grain. Sharks 2022 - did not allow that to happen. Whooo Hooooo.

One criticism for mine is our last play options are close to diabolical atm, needs to improve drastically if we're going to play with the big boys.

There seems more confidence line speed and width in our D. Id say lazy efforts are now well and truley called out by Fitz.

So impressed.

We didn't always get the bounce of the ball tonight but it didn't change our approach to the game.

So strong physically and psychologically.

So professional.
