Not being a local and not following the development, why is the capacity reduced so much? Are there still bits that are not finished, or have they permanently removed seating to fit in the adjacent residential/business stuff?
Restricted areas currently (don't know how much capacity reduction each is worth):

1. Upper Peter Burns stand (no capacity)
2. Leagues club indoor Chairman's lounge (no capacity)
3. Hill on NE corner (temporary chairman's lounge constructed on this location) - no standing room capacity.
4. Standing area North of Peter Burns Stand (blocked for construction)
5. Standing room / toilet blocks / catering immediately under Peter Burns stand (totally blocked off due to construction)
6. Due to above, temporary catering vans set up in some of the other Potential Standing hill areas.

Also,
Potential emergency fire exits not available either side of Peter Burns stand (due to construction works) which may limit Potential capacity (not sure if this is limiting capacity or not)

I also think there are some problems with some of the members seats in the stands as they are always empty

Can't see the NRL allowing a home final with all of that going on.

Should move it to Redcliffe :)

You do not want fire escapes out of order on the Burns stand

I had planned to ask a Dragons mate of mine to the game on Saturday if my wife was unable to come along and use her normal ticket.

He has just bought a house in the Shire, about a ten minute walk from Shark Park actually, so I thought he might like to come along.

He is in the process of moving in this week.

But my wife has now decided to come with my son and myself so I had to text my mate to say I didn't have a ticket for him.

Here was his response:

No drama mate!
Got my head in boxes anyway!
Also not real interested in watching my team lose considerably!

Enjoy the game!! I’m sure you will! 👍

Good thing is fate is totally in our own hands. We keep winning we can’t finish lower than third. With a bit of luck we could jag second but need to make up a lot of F/A which is doable with our draw. Dragons will be tough they put up a fight against the cows but i did think the cowboys looked really vulnerable so hopefully we can put on a better performance and put them to the sword.

We would really have to stuff up to not finish in the 4 and with our draw a top 2 spot really is in our hands a Sydney game against the Cows, Broncos or Storm is much better than having to travel for it.

Saturday is forecast to be fine so that lessens the chances of any nervy bloopers from the new number 1
