I suppose it's too hard for some kind of buy back scheme?

Not really. They used to do it, not sure if they do it still.

It's really not a good look to yell to the rooftops that we're sold out where there are clearly hundreds of seats vacant.

I’m guessing either the ticketing system doesn’t support re-sale/re-ticketing or it’s just not worth the membership team’s time (I imagine there’s probably only a couple of staff plus maybe interns). Maybe it’s an off season project for them.

In the end I think it’s better for the club for the tickets to be a hot item… in the old days you couldn’t give tickets away. I do feel sorry for supporters who don’t follow the news as much or don’t have the money always available in advance.

Official crowd from Saturday was 11,492... were there a heap of spare seats? I'm not sure we've had more than about 11,500 for any game this year.

I'm not sure about the ET stand because that is where I sit and I didn't really look there, but across at the Peter Burns stand there were quite a few empty seats. Same for the Monty Porter stand. To be honest though, the hill was absolutely jampacked, it was the busiest I have seen in some time.

I didn't have any trouble queueing up for food of drink though.

Dragons game might see a few of those empty seats filled.

They aren't doing the buy back this year, I guess with the push to get back here it wasn't high on the priority list.

It is sold out though, those vacant seats are members seats. You watch any other sold out game and they'll be empty seats.

It's also done to set expectations for those planning to buy tickets on the day or later in the week that you've missed out. Also to get there early if you're planning to stand, or drive etc

Yeah mate, I was aware they were member's seats. I guess technically "sold out" and "full" are two different things.

So with the news of Will's surgery and probably Royce not being available along with Dale and Sione, here is what I think Fitz might put up tomorrow:

Miller
Tracey
Ramien (if he's fit)
Talakai
Mulitalo
Moylan
Hynes
Rudolf
Brailey
BHU
Nikora
Wade
McInnes

Wilton
Tolman
Fifita
Hazleton or Colquhoun

Probably correct, seems like it'd maybe be Colquhoun over Hazelton based off recent team lists.

I still haven't seem anything to suggest Hunt definitely out - if just typical AC joint issue you'd usually see him play.

Yeah mate, just an assumption at this stage. Obviously if he is OK then BHU back to the bench and the young fellas get cut.

The pilot medical update regarding Kennedy suggests everyone else is fine, which surprised me.

We have been very quiet about most injuries though, particularly with non NRL players but I agree Hunt has been starting for us, seems like he'd get a mention here if he was in doubt

Since we might see some depth players called on this week.... it's probably worth noting that both Hiroti and Metcalf were put on report for dangerous tackles on the weekend. I haven't seen anything saying whether or not they were charged.
