Yeah if he plays a similar role i'd expect him to start. I'd say we may see him start regardless, and if he has played extra minutes maybe there is an argument for Tracey as the last bench spot.

I'm very interested as to what the pack/bench will look like this week. Possibly something like:

8. Toby
10. Hunt
11. Teig
12. Wade
13. Finucane

14. McInnes
15. BHU
16. Tolman
17. Fifita/Tracey

Hopefully we don't see McInnes on an edge again.
With that lineup I think you could see McInnes end up on an edge for 15-20 while Wade catches his breath.
Trindall would maybe more likely than Tracey at 17.
TBH though you could probably get Tracey to fill 15-20 on an edge if needed, wouldn't want him there much longer than that but if you told him work hard in D and run lines like Nikora he'd probably go okay.

Chance for Talakai to start on bench with Tracey starting at centre. Buys us until Nikora is back next week without having to run Wade/Teig with no sub (and not sure Wade can give a good 80).

I could even imagine a late swap to bring Fifita into start over Toby and try and start hard out against them without McLean, especially if Hess isn't in.

I have a feeling we are going to be without Hynes again this week.
There were reports he was playing with a small injury since the titans game (maybe before) and with the way Trindel played last week, I wouldn't be surprised if Fits plays Trindel instead.
Gives Hynes the extra week rest and have him ready to take on Penrith next week.

Not sure mate. I heard today that Hynes had the opportunity to be 18th man again for NSW but opted to play for Sharks instead. That was before he tested positive for Covid.

I reckon a large percentage of players have small injuries at this stage of the season. He'll play I reckon.

You definitely wouldn't have picked that at the start of the season looking at a 15th v 9th match up.

Yeah agree on Cam and the edge -If we go with Wade and Teig to start - we need edge cover on the bench and Connor provides this via Sifa …

No chance I reckon. We are up against one of the form teams of the comp. I think its all hands on deck wherever possible for the next 3 weeks. Can think about resting some guys when we beat the cows, Penrith and souths back to back to back.

This is a very tight match up but playing at home gives Cows an edge

I think will be the toughest game both clubs have played in a bit

Cows have had a similar kinda draw to us racking up the wins against a bunch of pleb oppositions , beating some top4/8 sides while dropping some games maybe shouldn't have along the way.

Someone needs to get under Chads skin with some smart ass remarks about his hair or podcast, he will fall apart

I don't know why but I am quietly confident about this game.

I wouldnt quite say that, but it is nice to feel like we should be able to give this other top 4 side a real crack, with decent chance we can find success

Send Chad a replay of him being pushed out of the scrum in 2016 GF...

I am glad Chad is doing well up north at the cows but if there was a game for him to go full Chad with errors, missed tackles, bad kicks ect then I hope it is this one.

I think Cows have played closer to their potential and understand better how to play how they need to in more games than us this season but both clubs have had some hicups along the way. Their coach has also had a head start with his team over Fitz just starting out this season.

We are coming back on song the last few weeks with the strong defense and attack we showed in the early rounds, defense actually looking even better than it did start of the year but Cows have generally been good with and without the ball as well.

If there is a team that is our equal in 2022 thus far I would say it is the Cows but how the final scoreboard pans out could be anything either way I don't know. Origin throws a spanner in the works but I think Cows will get this one over us and unfortunately we don't get to play them at home this season so we better finish second and maybe play them in the finals in Sydney! or hey maybe the Storm that could also work

Sharks by 13+ have a feeling we are going to put a clinic on.

Cowboys are definitely the real deal this year. The fact that its up there sort of leans me towards their way unfortunately. But you never know, might catch them on an off day.

I hope I don't have to eat my words, but, I feel like the boys have turned a corner now. I think the performances from now on are going to be much more competitive. Even against other top 4 teams.

If we get flogged though, this post doesn't exist.
