Wilton over Wade... I'm expecting we'll see a few changes yet

Wow... Tracey to 18...
I'd like Tracey to bump Trindall. Get Trindall playing 80 minutes at 7 in Cup.

Wade might still be a bit of a wait and see for injury, but could bump Hazelton by either going to bench or starting and pushing Wilton to bench.

(also note the NRL squad has reverted to 22 players instead of 24 with extra being named in some circumstances, like how origin affected you are)

My guess would be Wade to bump Trindall out. Fitz doesn't seem to like blatantly dropping players, so a late change would be a good way to make the call.

I'd be fine with that move too.

Realistically that lineup still has decent 'cover' although Fitz has shown an interest in playing a genuine cover player on the bench.

I’d drop Katoa and put Tracey on the wing and swap Miller for trindall

My worry is we have too many players in our team who think this & think they just have to show up & will get us the two points, probably a if reason why we drop the unstoppable games & why we leak too many points & never end up burying teams when we are on top.
It's really not so bad to have the desire to get us two points. There are some players who just want to show up on the field and get nothing :) But a little more desire to win would be beneficial to the team.

Agree, I just can’t cop the line we use to often,
‘We were just off today in the little areas’
Or
‘We were just flat’
We’ve used those excuses too regularly already this season & we are just about halfway through the season only.

FFS, if you want to have a bludge day do it on the 6 other days of the week or a training day where two points aren’t up for grabs

Not sure why you’re so against Katoa mate. Yes he’s had a couple of off games but I don’t think you drop him just yet. I reckon he’ll go better with Jesse back and it’s hard to find anyone besides possibly Ronnie who can score tries in the corner like he does.

If we need to drop players I’d be starting with our forwards first who aren’t aiming up consistently & who are a far bigger factor why we aren’t winning games.

All of them? Run with 8 wingers?

If you refer Item 2 of my previous post of our quasi forum rules it might make more sense:

Welcome mate. Just a couple of tips for this forum:

1. Don't argue a point using logic or facts
2. Make sure you come prepared with a Whipping Boy each week (ie the player that most cost us the game, regardless how well they have played for the entire season that should be dropped or moved on)
3. Don't dare stick up for any long serving players that are currently out of form

Oh
4. Don't post or edit your 3,2,1 points after the close off time

Stick to these rules and you will do fine.

"“The big thing I just spoke about is that it has been evident for the past month that our resilience, our steel, our effort is not there and that is the part of the game we have got to sort out before we can sort anything else out. That is a big focus for me.”

Pretty much sums up our last month or so. Unfortunately this came from Stacey Jones re Warriors. They will be up for this one.
