Late Mail: The Daily Telegraph reported up to eight Raiders players are fighting to be fit after flu swept through the team, with Ricky Stuart having to seperate sick players from the rest of the squad. The Raiders have not had a full training session this week and will need to assess who is available after Saturday’s captain’s run. Star five-eighth Jack Wighton returns from suspension with Matt Frawley shifting to halfback and Brad Schneider to the reserves. Zac Woolford gets another start at hooker with Adam Elliott bidding to return from illness from the reserves.
We may not have taken the points but maybe we had a moral victory by sharing germs……..
So far we’ve been on the wrong end of the flu’d up teams (1 week too late).Biological warfare it is then
This will also take down the Souths players followed by Tigers team the next week and so forth until we come up against an opposition that has just caught it and is down on strength all the while we have recovered weeks ago and already built immunity
I take back what I said about NRL letting blokes play with the Flu - this could work out brilliantly for us
