No not true.
There will always be a select group (NRL darlings) that will get the rub of the green by “officer Klein”.

Wow, what has happened to the NRL last few years, I've got mates who are Tigers fans, they are absolutely livid as am I, that was a disgraceful decision, the Cowboys player was 20mtrs away & could have not got there imo & Tigers absolutely deserved that win tonight unfortunately. For me that proves to me after so long how corrupt the game is, I'd love to see a statement from the NRL tomorrow regarding that decision. I'm thinking from now apart from our great team to stop watching most matches. Finucane has every right to challenge his MRC decision too.

The sad thing is regarding what happened, the wests won't get any points as much as they deserve to & will get told to "shut up" by the NRL if they take correct legal action, Payten who is a protected species in the game will just blow up afterwards.

Yep does my head in, agree.

With the six again we see side hold momentum for a long while if they getting the ruck calls. You could find a ruck infringement in every tackle. Be it hand on the ball, late flop, markers not square. Etc.

It just a lottery when some are called.

Bunker needs a overhaul. Do they just check groundings or do they interrupt all play?

@Greg86 and @Capital_Shark The six agains are still better than going back to penalties only though imo, way too many stoppages when that was the case.

I hate the bunker, won't happen but I wish they'd do away with it.

As an aside, I thought there was a really bad decision in the Titans/Bulldogs game. It was early on, and it only cost the Titans 2 points, but I thought it was an outright mistake by the video ref.

Dogs kick. Vaughan is in front and inside 10m.
Tino run an escort.
Ref blows penalty for offside.
Dogs challenge.
Video ref says "Paul Vaughan is offside on the kick, however there is an escort from Tino Fa'asuamaleaui".

Vauhgan being in front of the kicker and inside 10m is the first infringement. Anything that comes after that is irrelevant. You can't change the penalty because you think an escort is a "worse" infringement or whatever BS you want to come up with.

It doesn't matter if they are comparable. Penalty goes against the first infringement. It can only be changed if there is something that happened prior to the initial penalty.

If you hit my on suspicion and then I king hit you.. I get an early shower, but my team still should get the penalty. Offences were not comparable, but yours was first.
