Anyone think at one point there I think we were 14up,we shouldve taken the 2? We gotta get some of these technical decisions right IMHO.Broncos let us off tonight, didn't make us pay.Anyway Up Up.

Not a bad decision these days. It’s not overly hard to roll back up field off the kick off after points. A 6 again or penalty and you are right back in position anyway.

I thought Trindall played well. Is a footballer.
Metcalf played well.
Trindall and Metcalf could be a halves combination we could use next year. I still think Hynes could be an option to play a different position.
I thought Brailey had some nice crisp passes. He suits a team that grinds less.
On the Katoa try, he has to run from his wing to the other wing to find backup. It looked cool but should have had backup runners before finding Tracey.
Kennedy looked good again.
Tracey I think is a good interchange.

Not sure it’s all doom and gloom at the broncos, with Reynolds next year, keep haas fit and flegar on the field not top 6, but maybe 7-10.

thought our discipline was surprisingly half decent last night not giving away as many 6 agains or penalties exactly when we didn't need to but having said that the ref allowed us to lay over the broncos, especially first tackle in their end and all we copped was a 6 again. Surely NRL has to address this tactic but we did it well
Broncs discipline by contrast was very poor and kept them from applying consistent pressure on us
Katoa rarely drops the ball these days and his hands are usually very good at taking in difficult passes. not a great pass from Ramien . could see at times Katoa frustrated with Jesse not giving him ball when Sione had a bit of space on the outside to weave his magic
Commentators mentioned something like 12 of our last losses 11 of those we led that game at half time. Hannay obviously took my advice and just stared at the wall half time with duct tape over his mouth. To just concede the 1 try after the break and show commitment in defense in the closing stages was refreshing

they are better than they were that's for sure. long way off being a force again though even with Reynolds there so much inexperience and still issues in the spine and backs

A good replacement although I have some concerns about his passing (either doesn't or throws a bad offload)
