Well 'ere we go folks, while some shred of hope still lingers on in our seemingly futile journey towards this year's Top 8, let's dust off our battle jackets again and saddle up fer one more ride into town and take that next rung on the ladder by demolishing the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp.

Our tired and weary Sherriff Aaron Woods will again gather t'gether our normal posse in the pursuit of those bronco riders who have threaten'd ter tie us up on the railroad track when the train is a comin'.

Our top line cowboy Will Kennedy will look ter lasso these boys and have 'em grasp at thin air ev'ry time he comes into town. Added ter that Deputy Sheriff Moylan, still trying ter shake off the effects of snake bite ter 'is legs, will try ter upset them 'ornery brigands and step 'is way past the last line of defence ter the try line.

Our tough and battle hardened hombres will leave no stone unturned in their quest ter have the Broncos eatin' irons.

Enough of their caterwaulin' I say!

Our boys are fit ter be tied and 'as had enough of these chiselers and are gettin' ready ter give them a damn good beatin'!

We are out ter show these namby-pamby's and yellow bellies that we ain't gunna sit back and let 'em give us folk a lambasting. We're going ter beat 'em up so bad and then haul 'em off ter the hoosegow an' throw away the key!

So, let's all get behind our boys an' give 'em all the he'p they need and hopefully by sundown Sat'day, we'll have licked those vermin from the north real gud!

What say you folk?

They have been playing well of late. Looks like Coates will be in too. Kelly and Milford are mentally weak, hit them hard, pressure them and they will fall apart. Hopefully we don't let Tesi Niu go the length this time. If we win, it will be in a close one.

Kelly has looked pretty decent since his return I thought, haven’t watched him super close but haven’t seen anything from him I’d call mentally weak

I'll take a 1 pt win but realistically need 20-30pt win as would go a long way to securing finals especially if both Titans and Raiders lose this week. We could then afford a 20pt loss to Storm with Titans, Raiders and Warriors needing to win last game by 30 to 50 pts to pass us (if not more).

Great effort Chad. Hoping this isn’t the highlight of the game

Teams are in:

Hiroti in for Ronnie
Metcalf retains the six jersey, Moylan to 14
Tolman is back forcing Billy M to the extended bench
Forward pack the same

For them, it's an unchanged 17 going for their first back to back wins since the beginning of 2020.
Coates was in doubt but has been passed fit.

Can we sack Dugan and give the coin to Woods if he takes Haas's head off early?
