Question is though, why didn’t he just name Metcalf at 6 on Tuesday with Tracey at 3 and Hiroti at 14?

Can I just get in early and say up front that Metcalf and Trindall will make mistakes and take some wrong options. Heaven forbid they may even miss a tackle or two.

Can you posters (you know who you are) who like to rubbish players on game day threads whenever someone makes a mistake please understand they are new to first grade and learning their craft at this level.

Agree, like the Warriors, The Tigers owe us. I seriously can only see about 3 positions in the game day roster, we appear to be stronger than them.

I don’t think we are a genuine chance of top 8 now, so I’m excited to see how they go.
They will make mistakes but it’s worth giving this combo a crack.

I know - 2 week injury turned into 8 lol

Dear diary, predictions for today:

• Aaron Woods has his headband dislodged in the 3rd set (why isn't that a penalty? and why does Azz bother putting the thing on?)
• Sharks cannot catch the short kickoff
• Katoa to let 2 tries in because he drifts inside, if stayed in position could have easily tackled player into touch
• Moylan pulls his hammy in the first half - season and career ender
• BHU gets semi-aggressive and penalised for touching a player on the shoulder
• Jack Williams plays his guts out but coughs up the ball at a crucial stage and is called d..k fingers by some people on the board (fair call)
• the FOX callers are all on Madge and the Tigers - they hate us
• The ref calls back a try for sharks due to an obscure infringement - even the commentators are flummoxed.
• Graham Annesley says the ref is right and Sharks are just a crap side (fair enough)
• Josh looks sick as a dog after the game
• sharks lose a heartbreaker by 2 points
• there is continuous and hot discussion on the sharksforever gameday thread - Wizard comes in hard, HB lends sage words, Thresher always the level head, Gards, Bort, egg, BWB, MMSharks, Chad, Gando, Paul C, snow, Bundy all let fly - (fair enough)

I can almost guarantee most, if not all the ‘Moylan haters’ hopes he plays well, if he does that the big picture is the Sharks are a better chance of winning.
