worked under coach Morris but really that 4th bench spot gets so few minutes now it shouldn't really matter unless there is injury

Even with a debutant back and a peg legged Fifita Royce still only got 16 minutes on the weekend (a 12.5 and a 3.5).
7 middles sharing 240 minutes is approx 34 mins each average and 6 (only 3 on bench) only takes it up to average 40 minutes each.
And you don't really have the number of interchanges to take advantage of rapid rotations to try get the most out of the big boys.
Better to have someone who gives you some flex to cover for injuries, even if just 15 mins until an HIA is passed.
Fifth line.

Moylan out again - some calf injury! Getting to a point where we need to just ****ing play him and risk him.

Mentions Ramien not a certainty either due to his ear infection. Must be some ****ing ear infection.

Must have had it all season, can’t hear his winger calling for ball wide open

The one good thing about tomorrow is that we have our 2016 GF man Cecchin refereeing.

Obviously I know referees don’t decide the outcome of the game but at least Cecchin seems to give us a fair go.

Yes Cecchin is the best of the bunch - I like him as a ref.

I don’t agree on your other point - refs decide the outcome of some matches every week ….

With 4 bench forwards, I assume Talaki or Williams to backline and reshuffle if our 1-7 suffer injury or HIA. Fif's need to go for Metcalf

Agree mate, and if Hannay is set on four forwards on the bench, surely Magoulias offers more than a busted, shambling Fifita.

I thought that after 2016
pretty sure we've lost few under him since
bit I do like him better than most

Yep.
Agree with that part of your post.
We seem to be on the wrong end of a lot of refs calls when others officiate our games!
