Its nut cutting time for our blokes. We are clinging onto our top 8 spot by a bees dick. The Warriors have a lot to play for as they’re a couple of wins behind that log jam for the top 8, they’ll want to get amongst it. If our blokes can’t get up for this game and actually give a **** about putting their bodies on the line to dish out some fire and brimstone in defence, then what’s the ****ing point? I want to see a team fighting for their season, not the meek soft **** we’ve seen a lot of this year. If we see that then that should give our backs the room they need to do what they do best. If that happens then we should have enough firepower to put the sheep shaggers away. Sharks by 12.

Us:

1. William Kennedy
2. Sione Katoa
3. Will Chambers
4. Jesse Ramien
5. Ronaldo Mulitalo
6. Connor Tracey
7. Brayden Trindall
8. Toby Rudolf
9. Blayke Brailey
10. Aaron Woods (c)
11. Briton Nikora
12. Siosifa Talakai
13. Jack Williams

14. Braden Hamlin-Uele
15. Royce Hunt
16. Aiden Tolman
17. Andrew Fifita

18. Jonaiah Lualua
19. Luke Metcalf
20. Billy Magoulis
21. Matt Moylan

Them:

1. Reece Walsh
2. Dallin Watene-Zelezniak
3. Peta Hiku
4. Viliami Vailea
5. Marcelo Montoya
6. Chanel Harris-Tavita
7. Sean O’Sullivan
8. Addin Fonua-Blake
9. Jazz Tevaga
10. Matthew Lodge
11. Euan Aitken
12. Josh Curran (handy player this one, could cause big issues for our edge defence, hope they’re watching out for him)
13. Bayley Sironen

14. Kodi Nikorima
15. Bunty Afoa (One of my favourite names in the NRL)
16. Kane Evans
17. Eliesa Katoa

18. Jamayne Taunoa-Brown
20. Edward Kosi
21. Jack Murchie
22. Adam Pompey

A few lineup tweeks this week:
• Jesse Ramien named to return in the centres.
• Siosifa Talakai returns to the backrow
• Jack Williams named at lock
• Toby Rudolf named at prop
• Aiden Tolman dropped to the bench
• Luke Metcalf drops to the reserves.

I’d say Ramien is a doubt still. Regardless I wouldn’t be surprised to see either Moylan or Metcalf take Fifita’s spot on the bench on game day.

Rudolf and Chambers both lucky to hold a start. I would have seriously looked at benching Rudy and Chambers still comes out for me if Moylan fit.
Hannay in post match had said Moylan would be named with expectation to play, being named at 21 probably suggests that is longer odds currently that Hannay had expected last night. Probably not a good sign...

Bench is so big, Hunt could have played more yesterday, and I want him to get a few more mins. Drop Fifi for Metcalf or Lualua I reckon.

Should be sweet if just an ear infection I'd think

Critical game for us, we can't afford to lose this one if we want to make the 8.

Tracey cannot play in the halves again, just can't happen. Love his heart but he's hot garbage at 6.

Never thought I'd say this but we really need Moylan atm!

Hopefully the coach learnt from last night's game and gets the rotations right this time, although I expect not.

Yeah we need Moylan but we have had enough - did he have a setback or something ?

Trying to figure out why we signed him again - and I don’t care if he came cheap .

Just put Metcalf in there …

Tough game with the short turnaround.

Yep Tracey at 6 just doesn't do it for me. Let's hope Moylan plays and slots into that spot. Kennedy will have more space if this is the case.
Forwards just need to get their asses into gear. Not just in running but in tackling. Go back if you dare and see how Manly tackled against us in the first 20 minutes. Plenty of guys in the tackle and they moved us back, they did not give an inch. When we defended they made 60-70 metres easily each set.

If we can defend well and show dominance, I reckon the ref likes us a lot more.

The Warriors have plenty of mistakes in them, but Reece Walsh has the potential to almost do a Tommy T on us. He's young and inexperienced but if he's given space he will eat us up.

I'll tell you now, if we make the 8 this year it will be a bloody miracle considering all we have been through. Coach changes, internal bickering, players being sooks, injuries to key players, almost non existent halves combination and the list goes on.

Again I'm not expecting us to win here, after the game against Manly they will be dog tired after so much tackling and grabbing thin air.

Warriors 22-16.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the 4 middle forward bench.

I don't think Hannay is either, think we'll see Metcalf again. Hannay just playing masterful mind games.

Williams starting again wiht Rudolf at lock and Tolman on the bench I'm a big fan of.

Just need Moylan

just please no periods of arm grabbing defence.

at the end of the day every game should be seen as a 'must win' game.

a few games have fallen by this season because we just weren't good enough or turned up on the day.

a number of positives from that loss last night, hope we take them into the game this weekend.
