The rule is quite clear. It was a closed fist and it does not state how hard (velocity) it is thrown. He should get 10 weeks for that.

Edit - I just read it will be 1 week. Do they grade punches?

Striking has different grades just like everything else. Force it’s a grade one but intent should have been graded higher.
Birds leg stomp just 1 week is also pretty bad.
Both worse intent that Ramien who got three

One week is a joke. You can’t just punch blokes in the back of the head. Particularly after the Ramien ruling.

This game is for a couple of teams only. It’s blatant

Honest question - will the dogs win a game this season?
I can’t believe how bad they are. Same with the cowboys. Both are absolutely ****ed atm.

How dare you say that about the Cowboys when we play them next week.

Couldn't find the redevelopment thread, so I post here.

Will we be back home next year or is that delayed?

TBD

The club wants to be back but depends on the development and the progress. Not sure when we’ll know.

Maybe worst case we are Kogarah for the first half or something?

Thanks for update. A lot to like about our return. Hopefully with Bomber as coach that players love to play for with a $3-4M salary cap to spend on who he wants and our babies maturing nicely. Everyone will have a spring in their step playing home in front of supporters eager to return to our new digs. Future looks bright.

After the carnage of the game against Parramatta I’m wondering if they’ve sped the game up too much. I’d say V’landys would be thinking the same based on his comments earlier in the year.

If they look to slow it down at all, I just hope they leave the ruck and set restarts as they are, but allow for more time in other stoppages. Slowing down the ruck would be a backward step.

How is 10 weeks ridiculous for a clear as day, closed hand punch? Yet Pearce got what, 8 weeks? for pretending to **** a dog in the off-season.

It wasn't really much of a punch. It was more of a closed fisted push. There was no shoulder in it.

Is it just me or do they not deny all the things he is accused of implementing, they just demand he be respected anyway?
And apparently respect means not talking about his role in introducing many of the most dangerous tackle techniques to be brought into game and in the larges cheating scandal in the game?

This is what gets me, absolutely no mud on Bellamy which I find astounding given how tight his ship is.

Canterbury’s fading hopes of procuring playmaker Matt Burton this season are all but over after the Penrith Panthers rejected a swap deal offer.

The Bulldogs’ desperation to add Burton to their roster in 2021 culminated in club officials approaching Penrith last week to offer prop Dylan Napa in exchange for an early release for the five-eighth.

They're certainly persistent.

I wouldn't be letting him go either if I was in Penrith's shoes, they don't beat Melbourne the other night if they didn't have Burton to fill in for Cleary.

Extremely handy back up half when your premiership window is well and truly open.

Dogs are a basket case.

Could have had the swap for Napa but they backed out, then they trot him out for 3 weeks to prove he sucks before offering him up again.
