Mate you know damn well the casual viewer is what rakes money in for Origin.

Come on mate, the causal viewer doesn’t care if a hack journo writes an article bagging QLD. It’s pointless forced controversy and people with half a brain should be able to see right through it. All the article does is motivate the opposition, nothing more.

I maintain if we had learned our lesson all these years, we’d let QLD write all those rubbish articles and let our blokes do their talking on the field.

NSW ****ed over yet again. Addo would have gotten that, should have been a penalty try.

Addo-Carr would have gotten that.
And the challenge was successful, so means the ref got the call wrong or missed it, so should have been a play to go.

Nah I think there were enough Queenslanders near enough to the play for there to be a whisker if a doubt. For a penalty try to be awarded I think there has to be no doubt that he’d get to the ball first. I can’t honestly say that for that play.

Let QLD do the **** talking then. Every year our journos write **** like that and our ex players talk ****, QLD use that to motivate them, which is the LAST thing we should be doing, it’s dead set brain dead if people still don’t see that. It’s a mistake we make nearly every ****ing year. We just don’t learn.

Also Vautin should never commentate another Origin game again. Dead set cheerleader.

I think the problem is that QLD just get origin more than we do. They get it more than Freddy, that's for sure

For 1, JAC gets that but I can cop no penalty try given distance from tryline (you can't be 100% sure... just 99%)

But Kaufusi should have been binned for that hold down for sure, that was garbage and deserved to be walked.

Then the ending, maybe correct by letter of the law, but technically play stops when the knock on occurs not when the bloke on the offending team walks off with the ball for 10 seconds. If Jake knock on kills the play (as ref says) then game still had time to run.

One other one that jumped out at me much earlier, I think it was Finucane pushes DCE away from hooker and ref blows penalty and says Finucane 'got involved in the push and shove'. For him to get involved in it that means it already existed which means DCE instigated interference with the marker. So penalty should have been NSW.

End of the day though, NSW not good enough.

Jake Turbo is a slug. Broderick Wright V.02

I thought he was low impact in game 1 and then game 2 he was good so I thought okay, cut him some slack, but he was poor again tonight. He works hard enough but so often it was low impact, should have given Brown more time at 13 tonight.

Walker was close to non-existent.

No he wouldn’t have there were 3 qld players

weren't going to run him down
may have pressured him enough to not make a clean grab though

Nah Jake is just a plod, I don't really rate him. I think we missed Cam Murray in the middle tbh.

Walker? Where the bloody hell was he?

Thought Angus was really strong all series, Wade will never get near a SOO jersey again if he can't play better than he did this season, even if Boyd finally stumbles away from the game.

Jac gets there, if he isn’t bumped he wins the race to the ball, Harry Grant was lucky not to be binned around the 70th minute for his holding down penalty was boarder-line pro foul and Kaufusi was taking the piss, he should of been binned.

Nsw wasn’t in that at all Qld was all over them Val bombed a hatrick but to have those calls 10 to go leaves a **** feeling.
