Big fan of the change to a $75 voucher for the interstate membership.

From everything I read/hear, it seems like they really need to put some more temp staff on for the next couple of months to get through all the membership questions.

I know there isn't much money but you'd think this would at least pay for itself

Got my members ‘pack’ today. Pretty laughable.

For someone who lives 500km from Cronulla and doesn’t get a chance to really use tickets, they’re making it less appealing to be a member every year.

But at least they included a cardboard ‘certificate’ of my membership, completely crumbled on arrival and straight to the trash.

Membership team must be feeling the heat.

When you send out an email addressing peoples concerns/disappointments, you know you are already in the deep end.

You mean this email

Personally, I would like to thank you for becoming a 2020 season ticket holder with the Cronulla Sharks. We do understand it has been a difficult few months while we adjust to Netstrata Jubilee stadium, Leagues Club, ticketing platform, merchandise provider and new Membership team.

Your support over the next two years will help us as we build for a return to PointsBet Stadium in 2022.

There have been several complaints from renewed and non-renewed Members and we as a team wanted to explain to you the comparisons of your Memberships from 2019 to 2020.

• Ticketing Price Drop

We understand the move is tough and that’s why there has been a massive drop in ticketed pricing. In some cases, this is a saving of $180.

• Members Pack

Unfortunately, with the varied opinion on the Members choice item we have decided to exclude the Members cap. You can purchase this item and many other items on our online Sharks Store.

As part of your Members pack for this season you will receive the following items:

- Member Card
- Lanyard
- Sticker
- Limited Edition Lapel Pin
- Key Ring
- Certificate
- Sharks Store Merchandise voucher worth;
Adult - $45
Concession - $30
Junior - $20

Along with these items there are several benefits that also come as part of your package. You’ll have more opportunities to get up close and personal with the players and coaching staff.

These being:

• Leagues Club Membership
• Access to Members Only Events
- Trivia Night
- Post-match presentations
- Fan Days
- Meet and Greets
- Legends night
- Coaches forum
- Captains run
- Stadium tour
• Vote for your Sharks player of the year
• Member exclusive access to news, offers and emails
• Chances to win Member only prizes and upgrades throughout the year
• Priority access to Finals/Origin/Grand final tickets
• 10% off school holiday clinics
• Sponsor Discounts
• 10% off pre purchased tickets for Sharks home games
• 10% off Sharks Merchandise
• Reserved seat for all 11 home games at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium
• Free entry to all Newtown Games
• Integrated ticketing which allows free public transport for Members & fans attending Sharks home matches at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium

Thank you again for being so patient with us through the big changes currently happening at the Club.

If you have any further questions or queries regarding your membership, please don’t hesitate to email us at members@sharks.com.au

To be honest I thought it would be worse. No home ground and no automatic rollovers.

Still, it isn't pretty and only the Titans have less members.

Yeah it's not great, but better than I would have predicted

I had a great experience with the membership team when I dealt with them and renewed.

I think it was expected we'd lose some members, especially with how fair-weather they can be. Too many people who are too lazy to go down the road a few extra Km's, or don't think we'll be successful enough so they don't become members.
