While I think Bukuya and Capes are the best options for our 2nd row (until Wade comes back) I am more than happy for Williams, Sorensen and anyone else to step up and make it theirs instead

We seem to have more middle forwards than edge forwards. In any case, Bukuya should be our first edge forward picked to start.

Bad hands are bad hands though. If he hasn't got that **** sorted by 21 I doubt he ever will.

Pat Jarvis had dreadful hands for years; would drop the ball as often as not. Then he came under the guidance of Wok, who rid him of the problem straight away.

Sorenson is a possibility- with more game time and responsibility he just might go to another level. Capewell however , I just don’t think he has another gear in him. Solid player but where he is at he will always be I’m afraid .

Why is Gray in ahead of Feki?

Yep, this is strange.
Maybe they think that if Flanno isn't coaching, Feki isn't an automatic selection.
I previously aired my view about dropping Feki early in the season, but he came back strongly when he got his next chance and i would have him ahead of Gray for the start of the new season.

Williams will not be the first forward picked.

But he is a long way from the last picked either.

Highly regarded.

I guess it’ll all depend on who’s making the decision. I just thought he showed a lot more than Ava did last year and with our middle forwards, it’s a good time to bring him through. I’d personally also rather play Nikora or start Bukuya to Sorenson. Think we’ve seen his peak

Who knows anymore. Flanno was pretty predictable with team selection.
