Was great seeing Webster (Fairfax press) on 360 questioning the way the game is reported by Paul Kent's ( Womans Day gossip ) mob .
Kent wasn't happy justifying and believing he writes for the people
Webster would prefer the press wrote about the games for the game .
Don't think Kent got that . Agenda's and newspaper sales were more important than the game , is where he comes from

I miss the Monday footy. There's not much good about a Monday and the footy was like a bit of codeine for that relentless toothache of a day.

Webster certainly made kent look more of a f-wit than usual.

To be fair... they're all a bunch of scurrilous and lambasting, attention-seeking hacks dishing up opiate-soaked strawberries to pigs. The problem is the willingness of the average punter to unquestioningly gobble up this slop - you're creating the market for this rubbish.

You want a better media?

Stop making a market for the crap stuff.

(That goes across the board - not just NRL or sports media)

Don't miss Mondays at all. I'm a fan of having the Thursdays, get home from training & cook a feed while I watch the footy.

The 6pm friday slot is a joke. 6pm Saturday would be a good slot to have on free to air (ignoring other game times)

I'm an outside chance of making that game. Depends on my AFL draw, this weekend is the last week before games kick off so from here I'm at the mercy of my AFL games.

Someone's already probably brought it up ,
If the asking price isn't over the top .
Is it worth looking at a Hopa from dogs as a right winger , provided he played every day of the week ?
