True. I don't like the bloke but as I said, he's not alone, the media certainly have it in for him atm for some reason.

Bennett has been stringing the media along his entire career. If they're gunning for him its probably because he wants them to.

Triple M this morning, briefly, made mention of the fact his entire career Bennet was the family man who was the master coach too, now hes walked out on his family he lost that bit, and he is now just a coach. Media are starting to treat him how they treat every other coach, especially when they underperform

You can't enter the ground from the summertime bar.
Yeah but I thought the crowd was more than 11,000

Ive used the beer garden to enter the stadium on more than 1 occassion.

You can enter the ground through the Leagues Club - is that what you mean?

They definately scan your ticket at that entrance, surely its counted towards our crowd figure.

I thought there was 14000 there last night.

They usually scan you but I remember just walking through there on one occasion a while ago.

I have no idea how that crowd number was so low.

The crowd looked pretty good on TV, but end of the day if you launch the season on a Thursday night what does the NRL expect? It was never going to be 20k which is what it would have been if it was a Friday night.

Ive been to a game where the only ticket scanning that was done was the security guard looking at at as we entered the downstairs bar. Then just walked into the ground from the beer garden

I guessed around 12, there was a few patches of empty seats around all 3 stands and the hill was fairly sparse really, def didn't look like Panthers/Broncos last year which was supposedly 14k.

Plenty of people way to excited by the Tigers beating a under strength Inglis on one leg Souths team last night. Love teddy don't mind tigers but calm the farm peeps after round 4 last season was going to be a cake walk for cows n Broncs lots can change, may be a long season for Souths this year unless Inglis gets a good run injury wise and all 3 burgess boys turn back the clock.

They're bloody good to watch though, Vic. They play an attractive style of RL.
