They never actually played together did they? I don't recall it

Pretty sure Porter was dropped for Smith. I remember being filthy because in my mind Porter had been outplaying Barrett.

7. Smith
6. Barrett

getting a bit ahead of yourself there... people were saying the same thing about luke brooks

BUT

mitch moses is better than watson and will be NSW 6 for as long as he wants it

Good call on Moses, but Watson has more talent in his left foot than Brooks ever will

yeh Watson is very talented, but moses takes the 6

what is cleary's eligibility?

Born in the northern beaches he's a nsw boy and played Jnr footy in the Penrith comp when he came back from NZ, he's a NSW boy.

In your head, rent free
has he pledged to nsw and Australia though? I know he is a panthers junior, but his old mans heritage allows him to play for nz

A major positive from last night's game is that St George will well and truly regret the signing of Ben Hunt on big money for six years.

Matty Johns made interesting comments of how Bennett has lost his aura, and the mess he left behind at the Dragons and Knights is a clear example.

Des left Manly in a mess, Ricky left us and Parra in a mess. Wayne isn't Han Solo in that department.

Johns was referring to coaches and their legacy. Hasler left a team premiers, bennet went to st george won a premiership then left them in a hole, went to newy and bailed mid contract with salary cap in terrible shape (like ricky).

True. I don't like the bloke but as I said, he's not alone, the media certainly have it in for him atm for some reason.

Bennett has been stringing the media along his entire career. If they're gunning for him its probably because he wants them to.

Triple M this morning, briefly, made mention of the fact his entire career Bennet was the family man who was the master coach too, now hes walked out on his family he lost that bit, and he is now just a coach. Media are starting to treat him how they treat every other coach, especially when they underperform
