Yay storm. Atleast our finals path has been set. Eels then roosters if we keep winning. No travel. This is the best result we could have hoped for

Title defence starts tomorrow. Let's put them to the sword.

cracking start to the finals but my word those dirty storm ****s get away with murder when it comes to their passes - "sorry bernie they are wearing purple, no need to check or call anything, we don't wanna upset cam and bellamy and we need a team doing well down here in melbourne"

Glad Parra scored at the end off a suspect pass cause storm threw a number resulting in points

It's just a joke how many questionable decisions go the storms way, they get more gifts than the broncos at suncorp. Touchies need to grow a pair and just do better all round.
Good result for us I spose but would have love to see those pricks go down, gutted if im a parra fan, probably earned a win, really unlucky but some poor decisions by their players that second half hurt as well

It's truly incredible we beat the purple turds in a GF

Anyone else notice that as soon as the finals have started the officials are hardly using the video ref? Makes for a quicker better game IMO but all year they check everything in drawn out detail and now when they should be relying on it for certain things (like last nights try by oates) they arn't

Wow. Everyone on here seems totally confident that we are going to wipe Parra if we get through tomorrow. I thought the Eels gave away too many silly penalties and could have easily won that. They will be filthy about losing and will fire up next week for sure.

That was a tough game & a good one to watch nonetheless but geez Melbourne get away with things! It just seems to me the refs can be too afraid to call against Melbourne at times! They get fired up easily when they are rattled, especially Slater & Munster. Bellamy has learnt to control himself now haha, last few years all he's done is smash the table & windows! I noticed him just go out the back & control himself now hahaha. We need to focus on the game tomorrow first though, we havent got past Cowboys yet & that will be a tough game. IF we win Parra especially will be a very tough team going by the way they played today.

Wow the storm switched into 2nd gear in the 2nd half.
They were too good. Put the pressure on the eels and they fell for it.
Giving away stupid penalties.

it all started with the try they scored after Munster came on

For the record, who thinks that was a try? Two players touched it at once, and the guy in front came away with it. They didn't even check it! What would the correct call be? Intentional Offside? Forward pass?

Embarrassing that they don't allow teams in week 1 of finals to play at home- An empty Allianz instead of a packed out Penrith Stadium.

Although I'm glad we aren't playing at home with our record at the SCG Stadium.

I understand the logic....bigger stadium means no fan misses out (if the crowd is that big). I reckon the crowd will go over our sell out anyway. I thought our capacity was about 22-23k but i remember the sell outs over the last few years were like 18-19.
