So the bunnies add Burgess are cost of what? He's 26 so this 3 year deal is no doubt the moneymaker for him. 800k a year? Doubt it's far off. So between him and Inglis its 1.8 mill ish.

**** I hope we can snag Walker. If we could get Grant or someone as well it would be unbelievable recruitment.

Walker would bring us a lot closer to being a complete side and he should be our main priority.

They've lost luke and Stewart with barely any decent recruits and if they shift on walker they could easily afford him

his answer was

"just about done unless a world class centre falls from the trees"

Jeez he's a great player but I dont think he's worth that much. I know we need a strike centre, but a million or close too would tighten our budget for forwards next year, its a tough one.

If bird would only stay to play fb or 5/8, do you let him go if we can sign walker to fill the centres hole?

All good. With the cap increase I think that would be more than reasonable. I'm sure Souths will do everything to keep him though, without him their back line starts looking pretty mediocre.
