With manlys 2016 roster, Toovey woulda been headed to the pointy end of the season. He got the rough end of the stick big time imo

Yeah I expect manly to be back in the 8 again next year. Still massive pressure on Baz but I'll be surprised if they don't make the 8

they never struggled to fit DCE into their cap, they got greedy and tried to fit in Foran too

I think that what their biggest issue in the first place he signed with Titans cos they were too busy trying to fit 2 million dollar contracts into the team.

Im wondering if he didnt say to Manly, ill stay but you have to get rid of Toovey?

Yeah you gotta feel a bit for Tooves, he got kind of boned last season. But hey, he'd be hoping for Barrett to do really well with the roster this season and then Gould might come out and claim Tooves laid the ground-work and give him a big fat contract once he inevitably sacks Griffin.
