Kidding right that he didn't show potential? While I'd rather Boogs then Sop i will definitely miss Sop if he is gone.

nup not kidding, had nothing to show, it'll be a good trade Boogs for Sops. Sops looked out of sorts.

So with Junior R and Pat P training with us, does this mean that we have signed them on for another season? Or are they trialling for a contract? Zerotackle is still listing them as off contract. I was hoping we would at least keep Pat Politoni.

they are at training mate, they are with us in 2015

I think the club has bigger fish to fry than announcing the retention of reserve grade players, although it is nice to hear/read

they are both still on the player profiles so good news, they both did well for us in crappy circumstances last year

Looking at these rumoured signing, wonder if Flanno is looking at 3 big boppers on the bench plus Nu Brown ?

Nu could be eased in as cover for the halves or if Ennis needed a spell.

Could be dangerous in a role like that.

Hey, you could even hook Robbo and throw him on there during a match....

Nu on the bench certainly would give plenty of options; Could even have Nu running the ball out of dummy half in place of a lock or something, with Ennis on the field at the same time, that's an advantage of having a mobile forward pack compared to the big boppers.

But if he's not going to be picked in the Halves for 1st grade to start with, I don't think playing him at halfback in NSW Cup would be a bad thing, to get him a bit more comfortable with the role out there with the men.

Prior was deadset crap last season, he had like one decent game and a slew of shockers.

Ayshford and Prior are massive wastes of top 25 spots!

Yes. we have seen in recent years , players blooded in this way.

Barba and Keary spring to mind.

Its all well and good have a 4 forward bench, however 1 of them invariably gets limited game time.

I think Nu should be in the 17, even if it is in that bench role as a point of difference.

I say it again, gives us the option of benching Robbo late in a match , where we need to make something happen.

I know the answer to my own question, but why not run out with Nu and Barba (if he comes here) in the halves, Politoni gets the bench spot?

That halves pairing with a good halves coach while ennis is here to take alot of pressure as brown gettin us down field could work very well but as sharks supporters We are prone to being let down and robbo who can boot a ball further than 30m somehow keeps his spot . What difference is it for the team in a field possession point of view if brown does our kicking?he will kick 40m straight to a full back or robbo will do the same but only 20m? I still hate flanno and because robbo is our half this year I hope we go bad so he gets sacked

How does it work if we land a few more signings, can we distribute the top 25 allocations, right before the start of the year?

I know there is additional cap restraints on the lower grades too, but can we shift players around as we see fit ?

Surely players like Prior and Ayshford can get dropped out if we can fill there positions (with even partially talented players...)
