So there's 4 days left that my tickets can be delivered in the mail... Guaranteed not everyone will receive theirs by Friday

Sharkcrew probably have theirs, or know the precise minute they intend to send them out

I'm getting worried now. Nathan in membership told me last week my ticket was shipped out last Thursday and I should have it today but no. Nothing in the letterbox today. I reckon I'll be making a trip down to the club on Friday. Have to have it by then as I'll be away Saturday in Nelson Bay and driving back at midday on Sunday.

They hate us cause they anus

No but really I actually don't have a problem with volunteering at all. I actually cringed at that dorky group mugshot and a bunch of dogooders got their BWB panties in a collective twist and pissed and moaned at me for a few hours for not being supportive of the club's new direction. When in reality I was just laughing at how lame the shark crew idea is being pitched.

So you argued for a few hours on the internet with others about community and supporter participation initiatives but those actually putting their hand up to do something are lame.

I said the way it's being pitched is lame, I actually admire volunteering, but please continue to not read what I actually write

What exactly was "lame" about the pitch? Seemed to grab 50 odd people.

I'll continue to read what I read and call it as such. Mate, in another thread you called for a tin-foil hat to state the obvious that journos make up **** and Gallen might have been instructed not to give anything away on the recruitment of DCE. Thats not foil hat that clear as day.

If you've got better ideas put 'em up champ. At the moment you seem to ridicule ideas without putting up alternatives. ****en useless in my book.

About as useful as you are, what exactly do you contribute, except to continuously evidence your own inability to interpret written text?

Care to explain to me how '50-odd people' pitch a club-driven initiative? Those 50-odd people are simply the people who are generously willing to donate their time. The club pitches the concept to the members and wider fan base. The way they pitched it was some two-dozen or so low-res mug shots, some of which, as someone pointed out, didn't even show their face (one guy hid his face in a hoodie). That was what I cringed over on twitter, I expressed my discomfort that the way the shark crew was pitched - to me (and perhaps others, I won't name names) it looked a bit naff (to use a less offensive word). I expressed my own view on my own social media account and got a torrent of whining sharks-justice-warriors telling me how much of a bad man I was for not praising the club's efforts for engagement. It's not the method I disagree with, just the delivery (in this instance).

Sure, keep "calling it as (you) see it". I'm really impressed by your ability to puff your chest on the forum. That's sarcasm, you seem either unwilling or unable to detect or accept its use in the written form. Like when I said "Tin foil hat time" - because of course it wasn't a conspiracy, it was actually quite obvious what was playing out in the SMH article.

In what universe does anyone have to put up an idea of their own to criticise the idea of others? Are you really that obtuse? Like you've never felt that a political or social issue was wrong, or biased, or incorrect in your life. Tell me, did you ride into parliament on your white horse and declare your own pearls of wisdom? I doubt it, so put your big-boy balls back in your pants, they don't impress me.

Thats no good mate, they just cant seem to get it together. I have been an interstate member for the past 5 years and I've got to say this years pack was the worst, a hat that I will never wear and a lanyard and a tiny sticker.... I would be happy to just get the scarf as I like to collect these. anyways still 100% behind the club and excited for a big year. Perhaps a more relevant style snap back hat would be better, surely these cant be that much more to produce.

Communication is the first area that needs to be improved. A semi-regular email with updates on the ticketing situation is all we need.
