How much of a problem is there when u are renewing passes/seats. The minute you put in the order confirmation the ball should start rolling. Not wait till march 7th

Agree, and you'd have to think the vast majority are just renewals. Then there'd be a heap that would just be GA tickets as well, and they require absolutely no ****ing around with seats.

If ticketek don't want to do the job properly, get someone else to do it next time.

I had mine roll on from last year. Did tickeks printer run out of ink?

Seat allocation to renewals up to xmas or late jan shouldnt matter either.

Ill be dirty if i have to line up for tickets with 5000 other people

I'd like to know what this "problem with ticketek" is. Has any other sport, music or whatever they sell had any dramas or is it just a cronulla problem. Sounds like a cop out to me

There has been issues with ticketek, plus fans wanted to move back the membership renewal date didn't really help this situation.

Matty, I know you're trying to defend the club and I admire that but I agree with the other guys on here. Surely when you renew your ticket they know that seat is now sold so why not make that ticket, create the barcode and send it out. I don't understand why they need to wait so long and send them out all at once. If tickets had been sent out when most people renewed them we wouldn't have this problem.

We're living in the 21st century, surely there's some technology that enables us to do this. If Ticketek can't do it, find someone that can.

Are there any IT gurus out there that can tell me if im way off base?

You guys are gonna love the answer.

When you renewed your membership there was a well hidden tab with 'merchandise'

From there you can buy the stubbie holder, members hoodie or make a donation.

I'd love to know how many members hoodies we've sold, cos no one knows they exist

Also, don't count the figurine in. He's old merch from the Winfield Cup days that snuck into the photo for fun.

I tried to have a look but this POS tablet wouldn't open the page.

Just sign into the members hub and have a look. I can't see why you wouldn't be able to.

I made a donation at renewing my membership. I'd love to have a look at the members hoodie - more than just a sketch of the proposed product, before I pay $160 for it though.

From what I understand it is seat mapping issue with ticketek and our seat maps. Seats were showing as sold and weren't and vice versa for season seats so if it wasn't fixed season seats could have been sold as game tickets or not through the ticketek site. Have also heard Tigers had same issues.

I think it's BS tbh. I emailed Lyall about this 2-3 weeks ago. He replied saying he'd passed it onto the membership team. Someone called me (forgotten their name) and said it was a Ticketek issue. I went on to Ticketek and had a look at all other teams and I could get tickets for all of their games. Seems a bit sus that we were the only club to have issues with them.

It's obvious we're still a complete rabble when it comes to this area. Needs to be rectified as a matter of urgency imo.

Out of all the complex things a football club needs to deal with, this shouldn't even rate a mention.

It shouldn't be hard and it most certainly shouldn't be an issue EVERY year.
