Talk about benefits of being a member, I received the e-newsletter (members edition) a whole 6 minutes before the other plebs received the regular edition. To celebrate I'm going to cook 3 lots of 2 minute noodles with my time to spare.

exactly right mate. Ive found this too. granted i would check social media more often than my personal email folder, but you are right. There is no members/exclusive info. We just recieve it 5 minutes earlier than the other 95,000 on facebook

Not much can be done about that though. As soon as it's emailed to members, someone will post it to facebook or here or where ever.
I still appreciate the effort to put members first though.

No i know what you mean. Theres times it wouldnt matter because the over used term 'breaking' gets used, people spread the word and then its not exclusive. But yeah, i think that 5 minutes early notice isnt enough. Let it get out naturally. But announce Barba signed in a members only email at 3 then post it for the world to see at 4. Yes the media will have already reported it by then, and the members who got the email will have told their mates its official. So when its 'old news' an hour later, then so be it.

I couldn't care less about getting exclusive news emails. I'm a member because I love the Sharks not because I want to feel more important than a non member Sharks supporter.

Just emailed the club regarding when they would be posting out the Member Packs and got a response within 30 minutes. Their response was as follows: “Your packs were posted today. The cards and merchandise voucher will arrive in early February once we receive barcode information from Ticketek which will allow us to print your season ticket.”
