Just received a call from Nathan about renewal was very helpfull asked him some questions, Members packs come out second week December same as usual but include a $50/$25 voucher to the Sharks shop, no 2015 members jumper this year it will be a jacket and will be free to all platnium members others can purchase available April, was going to call me re Manly trial but said it was at Brooky last year so should be our turn, membership was slightly up on last year

Good to hear we are working towards fixing the membership issues. (Although personally have never had an issue.)

I dealt with Nathan a fortnight ago when the Debit success crashed. He was very helpful and informative.

That said, I don't think the membership renewal process this time around has been much chop. It's fine if you are up to date with technology (majority) but beyond that there's been little or no communication.

Some older members I know with no email contact have had nothing by way of mail (as in previous years) or phone to make them aware season-seat renewal is due next week. If not for me informing them they may have found there in demand seats passed up and sold. Considering they are both long standing perpetual members this is not good enough.

We actually held the trial this year. It should be at Brookvale next year. Although I think it was mentioned recently in the Shark Daily that the location was still to be confirmed.

I haven't renewed yet (intend to this week) and haven't received an email or phone call about renewing but got an email about the fan forum today. What happened to the packs they used to send in the mail to existing members ?

More so the over the top attacks and off topic dribble. It would be very hypocritical of me to say there shouldn't be attacks at all. A bit of fun here and there is good for the site the problem was the forum had gotten to a stage where it was more so about the dribble and personal attacks than about the football.

We are all guilty of going of topic a bit at times and most of us have been guilty of personal attack whether with intent to harm or just as a joke.

The problem here is it has gone over the top in the last few months.

I personally haven't been coming on as much of late because it has gone over the top.

Forums are a social place so of course you still need to be able to talk to mates but the more serious threads eg. the Offical threads need to be kept close to on topic.

There are plenty of good threads on here for out and out dribble it doesn't need to happen in every thread.

Since Gil's thread things have certainly improved around here IMO.
