Yeah this was an AI image generator... took about 15-30 seconds to generate 4 different images. Took a number of attempts though to find good images.

I still love our main jersey, and I think the history it represents is important.

But the images give some ideas for away jerseys, trial jerseys or training gear.

I ran it a few times, some look OK maybe for a trial or one-off jersey, see attached. Probably better with less clutter though and/or more of a Shark fin design.... it's hard to get things to generate exactly though. Feel free to try out yourself here: https://www.bing.com/images/create . Try something like "Light grey rugby league jersey with black and blue stripes and a Sharks logo".

I'm still not a big fan of the grey though, even though the main grey jersey was 2006, it reminds me of Chris Anderson days for some reason.

I also gave the yellow jersey a go

It made sense the sponsor names were nonsense but the efforts for the team name (which was part of the input) could use a bit more I put in their AI

I'm guessing that it's being extremely careful to avoid any trademarks. You can't even get it to use a persons name

I just assumed it was struggling but that is an interesting consideration. Maybe why it messes up logos also.
I figured it just sees them at different angles and stuff and doesn't quite figure them out but you are probably on to something...

It's a really big story in AI atm, across images, text, you name it. The Wall St Journal was suing Open AI (I think it was) for referencing their content virtually verbatim. It'll be interesting to see where it lands
