Portugal for me lack the true striker required to win it. Apart from that they are quite impressive.

We have to remember that in the 2010 World Cup New Zealand had their own group of death with Paraguay, Slovakia and Italy. They didn't get through the group stage but they didn't lose a game either, having three draws. Obviously their group is nowhere as bad as ours but they were expected to lose all three and didn't.
Undefeated at a World Cup. I'd take that... :glasses-cool:

That was a decent hit out before the trip to Brazil, looked good on the attack just our finishing a bit sloppy & a few too many cheap passes given away in the midfield which a team like Spain would have taken advantage of easily

Well, based on that performance I am much happier to take this squad to the world cup than a worn out dads army.

Sure, they aren't anywhere near as good as the old guard were at their best, but I think we can make this a decent development exercise. Perhaps it might even launch one or two of them to bigger and better things if they can put in a good showing. It's just refreshing to see some young legs running around, rather than the tired old slop we have been served up over the last four or so years.

So they have a four year plan? If only we would implement something like that.

They do to some degree, but it seems like they only acted when it was absolutely necessary. I think they at least want to put in a strong performance at the Asian Cup in 2015 since it' being held in Australia.

If Ange plays those tactics in the world cup it is going to be very ugly. The back four is terrible they wouldn't be good enough for the championship england's second division.

Davidson was alright, made a few good attacking raids down the wing, im not fussed about doing those raids down the wing just as long as he can get back to defend if we lose the ball after that, Wilkinson wont be the 1st choice central defender, he only played because Spiranovic got injured
