I am very happy with this. At this point in time the socceroos need to be rebuilding and this team has I believe the right mix of experianced team players, the
type who can help mold the younger members to be the future core national players.

I don't know a lot about Australian football LS, but why would they be re-building one month out from a world cup? Wouldn't you start doing it straight after the cup?

I saw Belgiums squad, they will shock quite a few, their squad is just about world class! 2/3rds of their squad are EPL players

How many EPL players do we have?

luke wilshire has played for middlesborogh, micth langerak is the back up keeper for BvB in the bundesliga and matt ryan had a very good season for club brugge

rumours of a spansih team looking at him for next season

australia have a solid team in the pool of death

I can see it now.

1st Game - We beat Chile in the first game while Spain unloads on the Dutch.
2nd Game - We hold the Dutch to a draw and Spain again unloads this time on Chile.
3rd Game - It's out turn to have the Spanish go through us while the Dutch and Chile draw.
Round of 16 - Brazil destory us again by 6

Very, very optimistic. I think we can get a draw against either Chile or the Netherlands but it will be a superhuman effort if we win one. Forget Spain. A 2-0 defeat would be the best we could hope for.

Good experience though for our players for the World Cup in 2018.

Gotta dream bigger Chad, I fully expect us to make the finals but lose to Columbia
