Mr Wright
Jaws
Here we go lads, the draft is upon us. We are playing in a 8 team Head to Head league. There are 12 categories totals and here they are to help your draft strategy.
Field Goal Percentage
Free Throw Percentage
3-Point Shots Made
3-Point Percentage
Points Scored
Offensive Rebounds
Defensive Rebounds
Total Rebounds
Assists
Steals
Blocked Shots
Turnovers
For the noobs, you will come up against another team in the league each week and be aiming to get the highest total out of the two teams in all 12 of these categories. Your team gets one point for each category you won in that weeks matchup. The team with the most category wins over the course of the season is deemed the winner, so yeah, we're playing first past the post, no playoffs. Draft wisely based of the selected categories we are using in this league.
The Positions on your roster will be as follows:
Active Game Day:
Point Guard: 1
Shooting Guard: 1
Guard: 1
Small Forward: 1
Power Forward: 1
Forward: 1
Center: 2
Utility: 3
Bench: 3
Slight difference from last year with the roster sizes. I've added one more utility to our active roster for each day and dropped off a bench spot. I think this helps to prevent teams hoarding good players on their bench who have injuries or hoarding young players on their bench, waiting for them to have their role increased IRL.
Without further a due, here is the draft order for our 2014-2015 season.
1. Sharks Michael
2. DJHabib
3. Mr Wright
4. Dier
5. Girds
6. snowman
7. Deano
8. Digits

We will be doing a snake draft and there will be a 24 hour time limit on each selection. If you get skipped by not picking after being on the clock for 24 hours, you can make your pick up at any time, but the draft will continue.
