I have been saying all year that the rabbits will win the grand final...but after last night, I am seriously questioning if they have enough ticker to pull this off.
THE OLD SAYING.....YOU CANNOT BUY A PREMIERSHIP

Can't say I'm surprised that the NRL has decided to schedule a double header. Don't schedule a double header during the season when crowds are unlikely to reach capacity but put one in the finals a sell out crowd is likely. Bloody geniuses.

The god thing i guess is the fact we will get the fresh track and first run on it. Last thing we would want is for one of the boys to get an injury due to the turk being ripped up. And if we win we can stay and watch the second game and drink even more!

I am okay with the double header, lets hope we win so I can enjoy the second game rather then hating the world!

Where is everyone sitting? Will we have specified bays for ticketed members or just sit where ever is cheaper?

Another thing...
We are going to be the only team next week that isn't playing at "home". Where are Souths, Roosters and the Dogs playing? At their regular home grounds. If our game was a stand alone game, there would be no way we would get 40,000 at the SFS, especially against an out of town team. Though if we were playing at home there would be a good chance we'd get 20k+ at home even if we were playing against the Cowboys for example.

I'm preaching to the choir I know but it pisses me off that the NRL doesn't use some common sense rather than just shipping us off to Allianz.

We have our own suburban ground. Souths, Roosters and Dogs play at generic grounds instead of Redfern, Sydney Showground (gone) and Belmore respectively. No home final is a small price to pay for playing at our own ground through out the year.

I think we should shut up about it frankly or they could end up forcing us to play at SFS or Homebush. I have next to no faith in the NRL in this regard.

The point I was making was that we have no advantage in playing a home final and the three other teams that do are playing at home anyway.

If how I understand this is correct. Us, Manly, St George, Parramatta, Penrith would receive no real benefit from a home final. What if we played the Roosters and we were the higher placed team? We'd be playing the game at their ground
