What are everyones thoughts on the $BW being used in the NRL's advertising campaign?

Who cares. Like i said in the draw thread, the media and the commission are trying to make this game too theatrical, hype up every little thing, they bring their own disappointment on.

SBW, Falou, Gasnier, Rogers..........theyve all come back from other codes, SBW just has the fact he bailed on a contract previously to do it up his sleeve. Other than that, he is no different

There is a big difference. Did you watch his press conference? Couldn't have showed league any more disrespect if he tried. Even reading that knob politis in an article, he himself states Williams is looking to concentrate on his boxing. Plus Williams has stated he wants back in union. Not the poster boy they should be using.

Gallen is more deserving of the job. Thurston, barba players I am not the biggest fan of. Are more deserving.

I agree with you A.S but unfortunately it's a matter of who will bring more viewers to the game and give it greater exposure, not who is more deserving.

I can't stand the guy but I'll still be watching his first game hoping he gets the $hit knocked out of him.

I agree AS, he shouldn't be in the advetisng at all, NRL in 2013 is a stepping stone for him, Hazem El Masri, power to you, you said it how it is with no BS.

As I said, I can't stand him. However, he will create more interest than any other player at least initially, it would be stupid of the ARLC not to use him in promoting the game.

The whole thing is just a joke, I can't wait to see him play again and i'm ecstatic that he's back in league BUT the roosters must be mentally ****ed.

He has made it obvious at every opportunity that he's going straight back to rugby and that the only reason he's back is because of a handshake agreement years ago which he now regrets. The roosters have cleared the decks for him for 1 year.
